JINGOLI PPL Electric Utilities Experience

PENNSYLVANIA POWER AND LIGHT (PPL) – CENTRAL SUSQUEHANNA PMC

• A $1.5 billion, four-year program that rebuilt and reinforced 69kV and 138kV wood pole transmission lines with steel monopole lines, deployed transmission automation technology and fiber connectivity, rebuilt existing substations with modern equipment and protection systems, and added new facilities, including greenfield transmission lines and substations ranging from 230kV to 500kV. The scope for JINGOLI included Program Management, Project Management, Construction Management, Safety Oversight, Outage Planning, Commissioning, Outreach, Project Controls, Estimating, and Procurement.

PPL - QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) & QUALITY CONTROL (QC) PROGRAM

• The QA & QC program is centered around the documented inspection of all aspects of construction on PPL Electric Utilities’ Capital Program, including Open Air Transmission Substations, GIS Substations, Transmission Line Construction, Transmission Line Maintenance, and Distribution Substations. JINGOLI Power inspectors are responsible for ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with project plans and specifications, as well as the standards and methods specified. Quality Control coverage spans three super project regions within PPL property and includes numerous projects. The overall goal is to identify areas where quality is not being achieved on isolated and repetitive tasks, and to improve outcomes through training, increased management, enhanced execution, and verification of the work specific to the reccurring issue.

PPL - GREATER SCRANTON RELIABILITY PROGRAM

• Rebuild of twenty-five miles of 69kV overhead transmission in rural and urban environments. The project included the addition of a new 230/69kV substation and the reconstruction of an existing 230/69kV substation. JINGOLI services began with development and extended through engineering, construction, commissioning, and closeout. The JINGOLI scope included Project Management, Project Controls, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Management, Construction Management, Document Control, Engineering Management, Community Outreach, Procurement, Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA & QC), and Commissioning.

PPL - SOO GREEN

• The SOO Green HVDC Link is a 350-mile, 2,100 megawatt (MW), 525kV underground high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission line running along existing rail corridors from Iowa to Illinois. The SOO Green HVDC Link will utilize modern grid technology to establish the first link of a national HVDC clean energy power grid. By connecting the nation’s two largest power markets, the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) in the Midwest and Pennsylvania-New Jersey-Maryland (PJM) Interconnection in the East, the SOO Green HVDC Link will help address America’s growing demand for affordable, zero-carbon electricity. In addition to being a minority owner in the project, JINGOLI is supporting development, engineering, permitting management, and overall construction management for this groundbreaking initiative.

ATLANTIC CITY ELECTRIC (ACE) HARBOR BEACH PROJECT

• The Harbor Beach Project involves the procurement and construction of a new 69/12kV indoor Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) substation. The project includes the installation of 2.5 miles of overhead transmission lines and three miles of underground transmission ductbank within an urban environment.

PSE&G – NEWARK SWITCH ENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT, AND CONSTRUCTION (EPC) SUBSTATION PROJECT

• The Newark Switch EPC Substation Project involved a full substation rebuild in the heart of Newark’s city center. The JINGOLI/JFC team served as the General Contractor, executing full civil construction services and maintaining site control through a phased approach. The scope of work included construction management, material management, and logistics.

ORSTED – EPC CONTRACT FOR ON-SHORE CIVIL AND CABLE INSTALLATION

• The EPC contract for the on-shore civil and cable installation for Ocean Wind 1 included subcontractors such as Black and Veatch, Riggs Distler, and New River.

ATLANTIC SHORES - WIND FARM

• Currently, JINGOLI Power is performing the early works engineering design for 12.5 miles of ductbank and an offshore drill as part of a wind farm project off the coast of New Jersey.

FIRST ENERGY - TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION (T&D) MATERIAL MANAGEMENT

• T&D Material Management solutions focus on optimizing efficiency and maintaining schedule adherence. Embedded teams collaborate directly with First Energy to provide services such as Procurement, Inventory Control, Cost Tracking, Quality Assurance and Quality Control, full Chain of Custody visibility, Yard Identification and turn-key Management, Material Kitting, and Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) Testing

NEW YORK POWER AUTHORITY (NYPA) - SMART PATH AND SMART PATH CONNECT CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

• Multi-year program construction spanning 150 miles of new 345kV Overhead Transmission on existing Rightsof-Way (ROWs). The JINGOLI scope of work includes Construction Management, oversight, and coordination of Transmission Foundation Construction, Civil Access Work, and Overhead Electrical Construction.

SAN DIEGO GAS & ELECTRIC (SDG&E) - 5 YEAR PROGRAM FOR COMMISSIONING AND GENERAL CONSTRUCTION

• Five-year program providing General Construction Management and Commissioning Services for Distribution and Transmission Line Construction (overhead, underground, and gas), battery energy storage, and solar generation within SDG&E’s current portfolio of projects.

174 GLOBAL - EPC CONTRACTOR FOR THE EAST RIVER BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM (BESS)

• EPC Contractor for the East River Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project, consisting of a new 100MW generating station utilizing 110 Tesla 2XL Megapacks. This system will provide 100MW of clean power and 400MWh, connecting to the grid through the adjacent Con Edison West Astoria Switching Station.

ACE Harbor Beach project procured 18 Local Craft jobs and hired Professional Interns. Eight individuals transitioned to full time jobs.

The PSE&G Newark Switch project hired eight local individuals, transitioning three into Union Trades (Carpentry, Heavy Highway, and Electrical) and four into full-time, long-term career placements outside the union.

PSE&G Meter Program with JET Electrical Testing hired 25 Local International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and 269 Apprentices to help test over 1.6 million meters for the retirement testing and compliance testing for the AMI program.

The Camden Waterfront Redevelopment project hired 118 local individuals and awarded $22 million to local businesses.
