Professional Experience: The C4 Group, National Consulting Firm, 2010-Present Director of Development and Public Relations -Directly responsible for managing over $900,000 for the organization -Single handedly created funding strategies to expand the financial stability of the organization by $796,800 annually -Created a Public Relations philosophy resulting in the globalization of the organization The Colorado Department of Higher Education: 2009-2011 Worked alongside the Lieutenant Governor of Colorado -Coordinated first time ever speaking opportunities and partnerships for the Lieutenant Governor -Participated in statewide initiatives to increase access to education for people across Colorado -Increased efficiency and access to information by developing comprehensive database management systems for the department The Salvation Army, Adult Rehabilitation Center, 2008-2010 -At 20 years of age, youngest person to ever hold the position, managed 124 beneficiaries of the program -Hired, Trained, and managed over 15 employees -Developed a volunteer leadership governance infrastructure to maximize the beneficiaries’ personal capacity and program involvement -Generated over 20 innovative and creative templates, polices and procedures, that are utilized to this day -The Salvation Army had to hire 2 full time employees for my position when I left, both of which I trained -Secured a retainer upon my departure, for a myriad of consulting services
Consulting Services: Calvary Temple 2011 -Trained the executive leadership team in strategic planning, organizational efficiency, professional and leadership development, team building, volunteer management, volunteer recruitment, and community engagement -Created sustainable initiatives that provided financial relief to 4 organizations, each of which are active today -Developed a platform for partnerships between 20 organizations, for the first time in the church’s history
Denver Church 2010-2011 -Trained the executive leadership team in strategic planning, organizational efficiency, professional and leadership development, team building, volunteer management, volunteer recruitment, and community engagement -Brought national attention to the church’s efforts and initiatives, developed partnerships with Washington, Texas, Illinois, and Washington DC
Regis University 2010 -Trained students in marketing, public Relations, strategic planning, organizational efficiency, professional and leadership development, team building, volunteer management, volunteer recruitment, and community engagement -Designed the model for a collaborations between nearly 10 organizations and corporations for an innovative community engagement initiative Cottonwood Women’s Adult Rehabilitation Center 2010 -Trained staff in mediation, conflict resolution, leadership and professional development, lead point on a comprehensive organization assessment, culminating in over 5 policy and procedure amendments -Designed and implemented a volunteer leadership governance infrastructure to maximize the beneficiaries’ personal capacity and program involvement Professional Tennis Instructor 2003-2007 -Collaborated with 3 organizations to teach tennis across Northern Colorado -Coordinated innovative coaching methods for individuals and groups from the ages of 5-65 Noteworthy Accomplishments: -Currently hold a position on a national Board of Directors, for Faces and Voices of Recovery, youngest person ever to be on the board -Currently hold a position on a national steering committee, for Young People in Recovery -Held a position on a Local Board of Directors in Colorado, for Advocates for Recovery, youngest person ever to be on the board -Collaborated with the Office of National Drug Control Policy and The White House for developing Recovery Oriented Systems of Care -Have been asked to speak on leadership for over 25 organizations across Colorado, Arizona, California, Maryland, Washington DC, Ohio, Washington, and Atlanta -Personally awarded Government funding in collaboration with the AmeriCorps VISTA, to carry out national community engagement efforts, in partnership with The Hands on Network and The Points of Light Institute -Launched Reveal Inc., a nonprofit consulting firm, which has partnered and worked with over 20 nonprofits, universities, churches, and corporations, across the country, and donated over $60,000 in services -Spearheaded local, regional, and national leadership teams to accrue tens of thousands of dollars for over 20 nonprofit organizations across the country -Member of the Colorado Leadership Alliance -Honored as a chancellor’s leader for the University of Colorado at Denver -Recipient of a Merritt Scholarship at the University of Colorado at Denver -Honored at 9 News Luncheon for Young Leaders for the University of Colorado at Denver -Recipient of A Rotary Youth Leadership Award -Developed curriculum and taught nearly 200 classes on topics such as leadership development, professional development, anger management, and grief and loss, all for men and women
