GRADUATE PROJECTS Ventulett Studio
Studio taught by visiting Ventulett chair Marc Simmons, founding partner of Front. Embracing architectural, engineering and cultural challenges with a first-principles approach for the evolution of creative and buildable designs, guided the studio to construction of full scale visual and material mock-ups. (2013 COA Masters Project of the Year)
Atlanta Beltline Design/Build Studio
Work in progress studio (Spring 2013) continues the relationship between Georgia Tech’s School of Architecture and Atlanta Beltline Inc. to design and build a new public space infrastructure to serve as a gathering space, performance space, and energy infrastructure on the Atlanta Beltline.
Solarpolis: Urban Integrated Photovoltaic Design Workshop
Workshop providing in-depth understanding of the solar power industry, PV system design, and mono-crystalline silicon module design criteria. Design, engineering and fabrication of custom PV canopy system will be folded into the Atlanta Beltine Studio’s performance space as the energy infrastructure component.
