1. What skills have you developed through this module and how effectively do you think you have applied them? -
How to approach a studio – I’ve learnt the correct way to speak to studios, asking for visits over a sudden internship. Starting up a business – I worked with Roxxie looking every single detail of how we could set up a studio, even down to it’s interior and the bonus we would at the end of each year. Presenting – After two presentations, I feel much more relaxed about presenting my work. I have learnt much more about the way to word what I should say, as well as giving a positive body language whilst presenting.
2. What approaches to/methods of design production have you developed and how have they informed your design development process? -
I have learnt much more about re touching photos (as seen in my self promo imagery), as well as taking crisp and eye catching photos. Cutting and constructing my self branding improved my craft skills. Setting up a website allowed me to learn how to make a website live, and purchasing a url and custom email address.
3. What strengths can you identify in your work and how have/will you capitalise on these? -
I feel I am very confident with presenting, helping with meetings with clients, as well as interviews for internships or placements. An imagination when it comes to designing business stationary. This allowed me to take the ‘Du’ branding further, emphasizing it’s concept. Constructing a consistent, eye catching identity. I feel that my self branding works seamlessly over print and web. I intend on working with simple aesthetic concepts more in the future.
