Redesigning the Existing Logotype After evaluating my previous self promotion project , I have decided to look into other typographic outcomes. The concept of using my surname spelt phonetically worked well, so similar typefaces were looked into, in a systematic manner.
One limitation of using the phonetic spelling of my surname is that the only typefaces that can be used have to be Unicode (non unicode typefaces lack the symbols and glyphs I need).

Redesigning the Existing Logotype 2 Excluding the top line of ideas, the rest of these typefaces are commercially free to use. As a student with very little money to afford entire font families, this is extrmely convenient. I have decided to get rid of the forward slashes, as I feel they aren't needed.
I have also tried experimented with merging two similar typefaces together (Belleza & Junicode). Junicode is unicode, but Belleza isn't. This was done as I prefer certain characted from each typeface, and they are both similar in a humanist form.

Redesigning the Existing Logotype 3 As you can see by the idea highlighted in black, I have decided on a specific logotype. As it was the combination of two fonts, there was a lot of inconsistancy (x heights, thicknesses, etc). I modified these and experimented with working with the different angles that Euclid Flex has.
The first idea (on the left) used the 314 degree angle of the e, whilst the second uses the 285 degree angle of the lower case t. These helped modifiy the dashes and angles on the phonetic glyphs.

Redesigning the Existing Logotype 4 The final logotype was kerned. At first, the spacing was equal between each characted, but then I extended the spacing between each syllable, emphasizing their grouping. I then manually adjusted each characted by eye , ensuring even better readability.
I wanted to look into the mimium size of application, which (without printing), looks to be a max height of 4 or 5mm.
