Original Shape Below is the original form that was drawn. Although using my full name would communicate well, I feel the ratio of height vs width as a logo would not work on a small scale. I would prefer to somehow create something more square as a logotype.

Ligatures Ligatures have been experimented with to create something even more unique. They also emphasizes my love of type and attention to detail. The ligatures designed are also functional, and do not group letterforms too much or distract the eye.

Shortened Name In order to create something more square, a shortened logotype has been experimented with. Although this works better as a logotype, I would not like to be known by a nickname.

Use of Surname At least by removing the forename instead of abbreviation, I would not be called a nickname. My surname is also a great conversation started, and unique. For this reason I feel a logotype composed of my surname is the best option.

Use of Surname + Ligatures As mentioned on the previous page, I feel that the use of my surname as a logotype is the best option for various reasons. I also feel that this option, with the ligatures is really successful as a logotype.

Use of Surname - Hyphenated Although the previous logotype will be used, I still feel something more square could be used too. On many social media sites, the profile image has to be square or circular. Here I have experimented with using a hyphenated option as a secondary logo. Although the name could be accidentily read as a double barrel surname, the presense of the primary logotype from the previous page would eliminate this idea. This option would only be used on social media square formats, nothing else.

Surname - Hyphenated + Ligatures In order to remain consistant with the primary logotype, this secondary option will also use ligatures.

Logo Spacing / Exclusion Zone As previously mentioned, this secondary logotype will be for square or circular profile images. The exclusion zone uses the width of the uppercase L for exclusion width, and the height of the r (the x-height) for the exclusion height.
