Context Svpply was a website primarily used as a shopping list and product discovery tool. See something you want to buy and don’t want to forget it? On Svpply, you could hit the bookmark and add it to your account. Need to buy an iPhone case? You could search for it on Svpply and find more useful results than Google or Amazon can give you. Searching for products on Svpply allowed you to cast a wider net and a more specific net.
Svpply also worked great socially. You could follow friends / people with good tastes to find out what’s on their wish list. The things they add to their Svpply show would show up in your feed. You could also create lists collaboratively or by yourself. Unfortunately, Svpply was bought by Ebay on August 31st, 2014. Ebay allows you to make a wishlist, but it is nowhere near as visual as Svpply, and only allows items from Ebay. Svpply also had a strong following which has now been lost.
