“Because you’re all RGU students, you’re guaranteed at least one thing in common with your neighbours. You’ve got the foundations for creating a bond or connection with someone. You’ll regret not taking a room in halls. You can survive without it, but you’ll miss opportunities ”

Callum Martin

If you choose to stay in RGU accommodation, our ResLife team provide on-site support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

ResLife is made up of existing RGU students and staff members who are on hand to help with welfare issues and emergency situations - including if you have locked yourself out!

The team are trained in first aid and mental health. They will ensure you benefit from the full university experience and have all the available resources on hand to help you thrive personally, socially and academically. There are a number of activities you can get involved in, from yoga and movie nights, to bus trips across Scotland, and everything in between.

“You get a community that you don’t get elsewhere. If you were renting a flat you wouldn’t be getting to know your neighbours like you would at halls, and that community is really important ”

George Lawie

After your first year at university, you too could apply to join RGU’s ResLife and become a part of this vibrant peer support group; further adding to your personal, social and academic development at university.
