ConcertoFest. Dr. Kim has also performed at Steinway Hall and Merkin Hall at the Kaufman Music Center in New York City. Dr. Kim is proud of her long career in piano education as both a private piano instructor and faculty piano teacher at New York School of Music and Art (NYSMA). Dr. Kim has performed piano at benefit concerts for Haiti earthquake relief efforts and other natural disaster relief work and hopes to continue to use the gift of music to bring peace and love to people.

Pianist Yoo-Ran Eunice Park

Pianist Dr. Yoo-Ran Eunice Park, born in Seoul, Korea, made her debut with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 11 after winning the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra Competition by a unanimous vote. She has been a soloist with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Indiana University Student Orchestra, Amadeo Philharmonic Orchestra and the New York Symphony Orchestra. She has performed solo recitals throughout the world. Her awards included first prize in American Protégé International Competition, second prize in New York Artist International Competition, first prize in the Music Journal Competition, the MTNA Piano Concerto Competition, and Lansing Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition. Recently Dr. Park was awarded New Jersey Senator’s Award and Grace Meng U. S Congress Award for her excellence in the field of Music and Art in the New York region. Dr. Park received Bachelor of Music and Master of Music from The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University and received Doctor of Music from Indiana University Bloomington under tutelage of Prof. André Watts. Her dissertation, “Cyclic Elements in Schubert’s Last Three Piano Sonatas, D. 958, 959, and 960” was highly praised by the doctoral committee and was broadcast on NPR radio station, WJFF. From 2007 to 2012, Dr. Park served as an Associate Instructor in Piano at Indiana University Bloomington and currently resides in New York City where she teaches, performs and serves as in a competition judge.

Pianist Jeongseon Ellen Lee

Jeongseon Ellen Lee, a native of South Korea, was first inspired to begin studying the piano with her mother as her teacher at the age of 4. She would later become valedictorian at the High School of Arts in Busan, Korea and graduate receiving her Bachelor of Music as a Magna cum laude at Ewha Womans University in Seoul. After graduating from Ewha, Ms. Lee started her new musical adventure in New York City, pursuing a Master’s degree and later earning a Professional Studies certificate at Manhattan School of Music under the tutelage of Dr. Arkady Aronov. Ms. Lee has been building her musical career in the New York area and in Korea, playing numerous solo recitals, chamber concerts, big ensemble concerts as well as collaborative music projects with living composers. She featured as a soloist for the New York Symphony Orchestra’s Fall concert at Merkin Hall in 2017, played “The Emperor Concerto” of Beethoven, and was invited to perform at Merkin Hall as an honorary guest for the NY Music competition winner’s concert in 2016. After awarded 1st prize and House representative’s award at New York International Music Concours in 2017, she has given a winner’s concert at Carnegie Hall. she won 1st prize at the Korea National Music Association Competition, 2nd prize at the New York Artist International Competition. Jeongseon Lee is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in piano performance at Rutgers the State University of New Jersey under Dr. Vladimir Valjarevic and Mr. John Perry, and a faculty member of Mason Gross Extension Division at Rutgers University.

Pianist Eunsil Kim

Dr. Eunsil Kim, a native of Incheon, South Korea, received her Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Piano Performance from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, under the tutelage of the renowned Dr. Min Kwon. Dr. Eunsil Kim received her Master of Music in Piano Performance from the Manhattan School of Music, and her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Hanyang University in South Korea. Dr. Kim has performed in many solo and chamber music recitals both in the United States and in South Korea. She has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City for “The Unknown Diabelli Variations” Concert, and for the Claude Debussy 150th Anniversary Concert. She also gave a solo performance at the Schloss Halbturn palace in Austria, for the Vienna International 4

Violinist Ji Myung Kim

Korea and Germany Association Competition. In the US, she won the concerto competition at the Juilliard School where she performed with the Juilliard Orchestra at Peter Jay Sharp Theatre in Lincoln Center. Other awards include the LISMA Foundation Competition and the New Jersey Philharmonic competition. She enjoys teaching outside of stage and currently holds position as a faculty member at NYSMA and Arete Music Academy.

A native of South Korea, violinist Ji Myung Kim has been acclaimed as a truly multi-faceted artist of our time. Kim’s international profile exhibits solo and chamber performances at some of the most well-known venues in the world collaborating with Violist legendary artists such as Sadao Dahm Huh Harada, Atar Arad, and Federico Agostini. Dahm has collaborated with members of the Emerson Quartet, the Muir Quartet, the Brooklyn Rider, and has worked with prominent artists including Avri Levitan, Jeffrey Irvine, Lynne Ramsey, Karen Ritscher, and Carol Rodland. In 2012, Dahm and Jin Lee Youn formed a string duo called “Starry Duo”. Their first album entitled, Violinist “Hymns and Passcaglia” was released in January 2015 in South Yura SJ Oh Korea. Dahm studied with Doyeon Kim at Yonsei University in South Acclaimed by the critics to have Korea, where she earned her Bachelor of Music degree. Recently, she completed a Orchestral Performance diploma at the Manhattan School of Music with Glenn Dicterow and Lisa Kim from the New York Philharmonic. Her latest achievements include playing as a concertmaster under the baton of Leonard Slatkin of Detroit Symphony Orchestra. She is a prize winner for many competitions in Korea, including 5

Armee obtained her bachelor’s degree from Ewha Womans University in 2006. During her college years, Armee had made appearances at the important concert venues in Seoul, Korea such as Seoul Arts Center and Sejong Center for the Performing Arts. Armee holds Master’s degree at Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University Bloomington where she is currently pursuing her doctoral degree under the guidance of Professor Mark Kaplan. She attended numerous music festivals and master classes throughout Europe and Asia such as Festival MusicAlp, Canton International Summer Music Festival, Great Mountain Music Festival, Bloomington Early Music Festival. Armee is the vice president and string faculty of New York School of Music and Arts, the vice president of Leo Management, the codirector of New York Classical Youth Orchestra and the editor in chief of classic music magazine “La Musica”.

Cellist Jiyeon Hwang

Cellist Jiyeon Hwang is establishing herself as a young, mature artist in the United State and Korea, having performed in prestigious venues such as New York’s Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Merkin Concert Hall, and the Sejong Art Center, Kumho Art Hall in Seoul. Ms. Hwang received her D.M.A. degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2016, on a full scholarship and with study under Dmitry Kouzov. She also earned a Masters degree in 2011 from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Music degree from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. Ms. Hwang studied with Young-Chang Cho and later with Alan Stepansky at Peabody. Pianist Ms. Hwang is a solo cellist and chamber musician. As a young Younji Lee cellist in South Korea, she won a number of national competitions and performed as principal chair of the Seoul Metropolitam Youth Younji Lee began studying Orchestra at the Sejong Arts Center. She has been a solo performer piano at the age of six in Seoul, at the Seoul Metropolitan Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and South Korea. She studied was sponsored by the Czech embassy as a solo performer with at Yewon School with Inhae the Prague Symphony Orchestra. From 2013 to 2016, Ms. Hwang Park, at which time she won was a member of the Sinfonia da Camera Chamber Orchestra of the Sookmyung University the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts of the University of Competition. Violinist Bela Horvath

Hungarian born violinist, Bela Horvath began to play the violin at age 3. Starting his violin studies with his grandfather, Bela immediately showed outstanding talent for the violin. During the early years of his studies, Mr. Horvath participated in a number of national violin competitions in Hungary such as, Janos Koncz National Violin competitions (1st prize) and the Carl Flesch International Violin Competition (4th price) , as well as a few top prizes in several international violin competitions through out Europe, including countries such as, Czech Republic and Austria. In 2002, the renowned violinist, violist, and conductor, Pinchas Zukerman invited Mr.Horvath to study with him and his associate, Patinka Kopec, at the Manhattan School of Music in New York city. Durning his studies in New York, Bela Horvath has worked with the world`s leading violinists and pedagogues such as, Zakhar Bron, Leonidas Kavakos, Jaime Laredo, Gyorgy Pauk, Ruggiero Ricci, Aaron Rosand, and Joseph Silverstein. Mr. Horvath has also played a great deal of chamber music and received coachings from world renowned musicians such as, Daniel Avshalomov, Steven Dann, Eugene Drucker, Lawrence Dutton, Timothy Eddy, Joseph Kalichstein, RobertMann, Sylvia Rosenberg, David Soyer, and Michael Tree. Bela Horvath made his debut recital at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall in 2003. The debut of his Piano Quartet, Amity Players, was at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall in October 2006. They have recently released a recording of two piano quartets by J. Brahms for the Canadian label, Marquis Music. As a soloist and recitalist, he has played many concerts around the world, including the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, France, England, Slovakia, Hungary, United States ,Canada and Brazil. In February, 2008, he performed with Pinchas Zukerman at Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall. Mr. Horvath, has appeared a number of times as a soloist in Carnegie Hall`s Isaac Stern auditorium, with great success. After completing his Bachelors and Master`s of Music degree at the Manhattan School of Music, Mr.Horvath has been a faculty member at the Manhattan School of Music’s Pre-college division program since 2009.

Kassian-Howard Duo / Baltimore Trio <Kassian-Howard Duo> Pianist Anna Soukiassian

Pianist Anna Soukiassian was born in Yerevan, Armenia. She started playing the piano at the age of three and by the age of twelve performed on Armenian State television. She has appeared in numerous solo recitals in Armenia and additionally in the countries of Lithuania, Estonia, Hungary, Canada and Moldavia and at venues such as the French Library in Boston, the Liszt Academy in Budapest and at Tower Auditorium in Hartford, Connecticut. As concerto soloist she has appeared with the Longy Chamber Orchestra and Boston Virtuosi. She received degrees from the Yerevan State Conservatory, the Longy School of Music and did her Doctoral studies at Boston University. Ms. Soukiassian has taught at the Interlochen Center for the Arts, Towson University, Bridgewater State College, the Orfeo International Music Festival and at the Peabody Conservatory Preparatory Division.

Double Bassist Kyle Colina

Double bassist Kyle Colina, a native of Charlotte, NC, has been living in NYC for the past 7 years performing professionally, recording, and touring as a freelance musician. He performs regularly with groups such as the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of New York, and the AIMS Festival Opera Orchestra in Graz, Austria. Under Leo Management, he also is a member of the New York Classical Symphony Orchestra and a Teaching Artist for the New York Classical Youth Symphony. His teachers have included Jeremy McCoy, Tim Cobb and he currently studies with jazz legend Ron Carter. This is his 14th appearance at Carnegie Hall since moving to NYC. Graduated with Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2011. Master of Music Degree, Manhattan School of Music, 2014.

<Baltimore Trio> Violinist Jeffrey Howard

Pianist Yoon-Wha Roh

Born in New York, violinist Jeffrey Howard has appeared as soloist with the Boston Virtuosi, the Orchestra of St. Johns, and the Yonkers, Indiana University, Concord, and WPI Symphony Orchestras. A frequent guest artist, he has performed throughout the US, Canada, China and in Europe as a member of the Kassian-Howard Duo and the Baltimore Trio, at venues such as Jordan Hall in Boston, Federal Hall in New York, the Bastille Opera House in Paris, Khachaturian Hall in Montreal, and at the Hochschule für Musik in Wurzburg, Germany. He has also performed with the Boston Symphony, the Metamorphosen Chamber Orchestra and the Baltimore Symphony. Dr. Howard has taught at the Interlochen Center for the Arts, the Orfeo International Music Festival, and is currently Associate Professor of Violin at Towson University.

Pianist Yoon-Wha Roh has been appearing as a celebrated soloist with prestigious orchestras such as the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, New Jersey Garden State Orchestra, Korean Symphony Orchestra, Sungnam Philharmonic Orchestra, and New York Classical Symphony Orchestra. Her solo performances have been presented at the Carnegie Weil Recital Hall, Lincoln Center, Seoul Arts Center, Steinway Hall, Jordan Hall, and Barnes Hall in Cornell University. Active as a chamber musician, she is the newest member of Baltimore Trio. She has won numerous competitions including National Artists Competition, Hakata Fukuoka International Piano Competition, Seoul National Symphony Music Competition, Korean National Music Association Competition, and Piano Texas Concerto Competition. She currently serves as a piano faculty at the Towson University, New England Conservatory of Music Preparatory School and Continuing Education, and Phillips Academy of Andover.

Cellist Cecylia Barczyk

Cecylia Barczyk has achieved international recognition as a complete artist, successful teacher, and great humanitarian. She has given concerts, recitals, and master classes throughout Europe, Asia, North and South America and has appeared as a soloist with prominent orchestras including those of Amman, Baltimore, Beijing, Berlin, Boston, Berlin, Bucharest, Budapest, Jakarta, Leipzig, London, Moscow, New York, Prague, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Seoul, Shanghai, Sofia, St. Petersburg, Taiwan, Tel Aviv, Tianjin, Tokyo, Vilnius, and Warsaw. She has frequently performed on radio and television and has recorded much of the standard and new cello literature – as well as works composed especially for her – on the Muza, ICRecords, Melodya, Relief, and CRS labels.She the founder of the International Cello Festival at Towson University and co-founder of the Intermuse International Music Institute and Festival.
