Introduction & Reminders The end of the service year has arrived. As I’m writing this newsletter, I cannot help but think about how great this division has become, and will continue to be. I hope that through next year’s LTG, you can all continue to strive to be as amazing as you’ve all been this past year. Here are a few reminders: -DCON is April 1st-3rd! -Starting next month, make sure all CMRF’s go to Louiza, next year’s LTG! -There is a March of Dimes Walk on May 1st—make sure to tell me if you are available to attend!

Please enjoy my final newsletter!

District Convention Imagine this—over 600 NJ Key Clubbers together at a hotel near the beach for a weekend. That is exactly what DCON is! From April 1st-3rd at Ocean Place Resort and Spa in Long Branch, earn your license to serve and complete your club’s mission of attending District Convention, this year’s theme being spies! At this convention, you can: -Meet 600 Key Clubbers -Elect next year’s District Executive Board -Compete in contests, like the talent show and oratorical essay contest -Chill out at the beach -Cheer on your division and club as you get awards -And more!

This year’s DCON is very special, since it will be NJ’s 70th DCON! I can’t wait to see all of you there, as it’ll be a great one!

Midwinter Training Conference Recap Midwinter is an annual conference where all of the LTGElects and executive candidates gather together to learn more about their positions through workshops leaded by this year’s board. This year, the theme was Monsters Inc., and we were able to teach all of our successors how to be an effective leader. They also got to see a board meeting in action! All in all, this year’s Midwinter was a success, and all of the LTG-elects are well equipped with the tools for leading the divisions all across NJ!

District Spike Out Hunger Recap This year’s district event was the Spike Out Hunger Volleyball Tournament. Every two divisions held their own tournaments two see who would reign victorious, and those winners came together at Schor Middle School in Piscataway to battle it out amongst each other. With a variety of spectators, and a DJ ,the hype was strong. The victors were a team from Bridgewater Raritan High School in Division 12. There was also a Kiwanis vs. District Board game, which ended up with the Kiwanians winning for the second year in the row! (We’ll get them next year)

Spike Out Hunger Recap (cont.) Overall, the event was very successful, and hopefully, next year’s board can continue the tradition! I would like to thank District Project Steering Committee Chairpeople Zierra Dean and Julien Rosenbloom for organizing such a great event! Hopefully next year, more people from Division 18 can attend!
