Pescado en salsa chipotle is red snapper prepared with a chipotle sauce. This is another popular dish during Lent because it requires no meat, only fi sh. This dish can be served with white rice.

El pescado con salsa de chipotle es otro platillo popular durante la cuaresma estar hecho de pescado y no de carne roja o pollo. Este platillo se acostumbra a servir con arroz blanco.

Red Snapper 4 Tomatoes 1 can of Chile Chipotle 3 Slices of Onions 1 Garlic Clove Chicken Broth Bouillon Salt Canola Oil 1 lime Huachinango 4 Jitomates 1 lata de chile chipotles 1 rebanada de Cebolla 1 Diente de Ajo Consomé de Pollo Sal Aceite Canola 1 lima

METHOD

Wash and season the fi sh with salt and limes. Meanwhile, cook tomatoes in water. Blend cooked tomatoes with about 2 oz of the canned chipotle chiles, garlic clove, sliced onion, and a cube of chicken broth bouillon. In another pan, heat Canola oil. Fry the sauce for about 5 minutes until it boils and then add the seasoned fi sh. Cook for 30 minutes. Add salt to taste. Serve with white rice.

Lavar y condimentar el pescado con sal y limón. Cocer jitomates en agua y después molerlos con 2/4 de bote de chile chipotles, un diente de ajo, una rebanada de cebolla y un pedazo de consomé de pollo. En otra cacerola calentar aceite de canola para freír la salsa. Dejar cocer la salsa por 5 minutos hasta hervir y luego agregar el pescado. Dejar cocinar por 30 minutos. Agregar sal al gusto. Servir con arroz blanco. { }
