Happy Holidays from Judith!
Welcome to our 2023 Loft Lookbook, a celebration of urban living and the vibrant spirit of uptown Saint John! The scene and setting for this year's Lookbook is one of two condo units located on the fourth floor of 115 Prince William Street, which we purchased in the fall of 2022. It's a unique and genuinely dramatic space, replete with marvelous decorating opportunities, and yes, challenges! As you travel through these pages, we'll share how we went about decorating these rooms for the holidays with products from Tuck, all available for purchase with just a couple of simple clicks. See Before Photos Here!
But this Lookbook is meant to be so much more. As you read on, you'll notice camera icons, which are our invitation to explore our before & after photos that will help you appreciate the nature of the journey we went on to make this space truly our own. There are a lot of decorating tips and freebies along the way! We've truly aimed to inspire and offer much more than just a fun shopping experience! Most importantly, for me, this Lookbook serves in part as a heartfelt loveletter to Saint John, a salute to the entrepreneurs who've both inspired and guided Tuck's journey out of the basement of my home in 2012. The rooms you see here are very much the end result of a collaborative effort with fellow uptown merchants and neighbors.
It's also a love letter to my partner and husband, Robert. Our first apartment was on the third floor in 2007, long before the rest of the building was converted to condos.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible Tuck team (Heather, Joshua, Tom, Kate, Nina, Jenn & Olivia) for their invaluable creative input.
Finally, it's a nod to the young woman I was in the late 80s, a wide-eyed kid dancing like a maniac in a bar called the 6High (located where Tuck the store now sits) who could not have imagined how these walls would be wrapped around her future.
We'd like to express our deepest appreciation to our photographer extraordinaire, Kelly Lawson, who has been with us on this Lookbook journey from the very beginning, all five issues!
This book has been made possible through the dedicated efforts of countless collaborators, primarily a group of entrepreneurial women who generously shared their time, vision, and expertise. As you delve into this book, your role as a reader is simple: scroll through, get inspired, click, and shop! We're pleased to offer shipping services across Canada for most of our decor items. This year, as part of our ongoing mission to promote urban living, we're thrilled to announce our most significant PRIZE to date. It's something you, your family, and your friends won't want to miss. LOFT
1.That remarkable building on the cover? It's the Old Post Office in Saint John, one of the first buildings rebuilt after the 1877 fire. It served as the city's post office from 1881 to 1915. 2.Over the years, it's seen plenty of changes and been through heaps of iterations. Currently, the upper floors are devoted to condominiums. 3.Tuck, our furniture and décor store, occupies the entire first floor, 4.If you look up to the fourth floor, you'll spot our penthouse or loft, the one with the clock and it’s where we’ve set this year's Lookbook.

TUCK TEAM
THE STORY BEHIND TUCK Our name was inspired by summers at camp and heading to the tuck shop. After lunch we’d line up, waiting for it to open its doors. Once they opened we’d agonize over the day’s selection of treats, novelties and minor treasures. Every trip to tuck was a joy! Today, Tuck is located at 115 Prince William Street in the heart of Saint John. It features the finest in affordable furniture and decor by some of the world’s most respected manufacturers – a grown-up version of those first and formative ‘tuck’ canteen experiences.

Foyer & Welcome! Upon exiting the elevator, ascending to the fourth floor, as you step through the main door and into our space, you'll be greeted by a larger-than-life painting, playful holiday paper stars, and boxwood wreaths all setting the stage for holiday flair and what’s to come throughout! This year, we're slightly breaking from tradition. While we adore the natural charm of earthy green bows and foraged moss, we wanted to explore a different take on holiday decor. This year it's all about city style! Within these pages and inside our loft, we’ll be celebrating botanical wallpaper, a lively array of patterns together with a blend of soft pinks, greens, and blues. And then there are the pigeons! You may wonder at the degree to which these urban birds have found their way into our design narrative. These inveterate city dwellers – hardly a traditional Christmas bird – enjoy pride of place in these pages. Indeed, it would not be too much to say that they (the creations of artist Jessica Connors) are the inspiration for this entire Lookbook!
Beneath the loft’s 1878 Mansford roof, occupying what was once the building’s attic, we've introduced neon accents, florals, and light woods, all in aid of softening the space’s industrial, even muscular, angles and surfaces. The intent was to breathe life and warmth into this penthouse, to infuse a space with soaring 20 foot concrete ceilings with warmth and elegance. Add a sparkly wreath or two, some leopard baubles and pigeon garland and we're all set to Love. Life. Uptown, Holiday Loft Style.

First Impressions Creating a compelling first impression is a crucial part of welcoming guests into any home. It sets the stage for what lies ahead! This penthouse comes with its share of challenges. First and foremost, how can you possibly compete with the magnificent clock-face that greets you as soon as you open the loft door and peer into the great room? (For more about this clock, see page 30.) Secondly, the ceilings soar to an impressive 20 feet, with a ceiling above that showcases a large skylight. "Filling the wall" all the way up to the ceiling would be both daunting and costly. And third, given that the entrance is visible from all other open areas in the loft, its in conversation with the rest of the space, as it’s within view from the living room, dining room, and the flex space upstairs. Here are the three steps I took to craft a warm and inviting holiday entrance for our uptown loft: 1. Staying true to my commitment to Scandinavian design, I aimed for a minimalistic approach. With a dedicated coat closet on the opposite side, responsible for housing shoes and coats and keeping clutter concealed, I ensured this
SHARE TO
area remained clutter-free. I chose a subdued color palette, featuring light, neutral shades like whites, ‘greige’ , and, in this case, a subtle wallpaper. This not only imparts a sense of spaciousness but also honours the natural daylight. 2. I introduced a beautiful piece of Nordic-inspired furniture: the Ethicraft Spindle bench. It not only adds a touch of warmth and style but also serves as a functional spot for the ritual of taking shoes on and off! 3. Finally, I aimed to make the entrance memorable by anchoring it with a strong painting. Robert Moore’s piece stands as a focal point without overwhelming the space. To enhance its presence, I created a "frame" of sorts by hanging soft patterned wallpaper behind it. If you look closely, you'll notice subtle rock dove carvings, which, in my mind, pay homage to the carvings on the building across the street at our previous store location, 122 Prince William. They also tie in beautifully with Jessica's pigeons, a recurring motif you'll encounter throughout this book. With the addition of red paper stars, boxwood wreaths, and a cheerful JOY doormat, we're all set to celebrate the holidays!

Choosing the perfect item for under the stairs can be a challenge! Jeff & Sophie, the previous owners, used an OG Pinball machine to fill this space, which I found exceptionally cool. Living up to that precedent is no easy task. Ultimately, I settled on a disco ball and a well-stocked liquor cabinet: just the ticket for welcoming guests and creating a festive atmosphere for holiday entertaining!
What makes a great bar cart? What, you ask, apart from abundant spirits, makes a great bar cart? Personally, I like to have unusual suspects on the trolley, like Grappa, Jenever, Japanese Blended Whisky, and Gekkeikan Sake. And don’t spare the decorative elements. Viski Hammered Brass Coasters
We’re obsessed with our second hand decanter we scored from Stage & Co! We also love tying ‘old school’ vibes in with the new! First and foremost, of course, it's important to have a sturdy cart, such as this Gus* Arcade Cart!

Great Room | Great Clock Arguably, the Old Post Office Building is possibly the most photographed structure in Saint John, judging by the number of tourists we observe wielding phones and cameras throughout the year. It's a true beauty, and the clock-face that adorns its top, nestled in a curved pediment bearing the Canadian Coat of Arms, is nothing short of a showstopper. Being on the opposite side of this clock-face is equally impressive. You can't truly appreciate its size until you stand beside it; it's a colossal six feet in diameter. One intriguing aspect of this space is that, even though the building was reconstructed after the great fire in 1878, there are remarkably few 'historic' elements that are readily evident in this 'attic,' other than the clock. Nearly all the components inside the Penthouse are 'new'— newly crafted drywall, steel stairs, skylight, bathrooms, kitchen, and more! The only remnants from the past are the concrete ceilings, beams, and the clock. When we acquired the unit, all the beams were black, which, in my opinion, gave the space an industrial ambiance, which is perfectly fine, but
I aimed to imbue it with more of a 'Danish or Scandinavian' loft feel. How did we achieve a Scandinavian-Like-Loft in three simple steps? 1. We painted everything—beams, steel, and walls—with Benjamin Moore Decorator's White (CC20). 2. We introduced soft accents in the form of Coordonne's 'Diderot' wallpaper, featuring beautiful leaves, berries, caterpillars, and tiny frogs throughout. 3. We replaced all the feature lights with contemporary and organic, light cane and woven shades. Concrete can sometimes project a cold aura in certain settings, but with white beams and walls, along with the large plank engineered wood floors, the space exudes a sense of cohesion and warmth, even within this spacious 20-foot attic!

3 Create some layers. Strategically layering ornaments from large to small, crafting a professional look that adds depth and visual appeal to your display. 4 Pick a theme. Stick to a colour or theme for well coordinated tree and resist the urge to go overboard. Add pigeon garland!

Holiday Dining Earlier in my opening remarks, I mentioned how Jessica and her pigeons served as the catalyst and muse for the Lookbook. What follows is something of ‘meta moment’ I'll do my best to explain. My love for Saint John is so profound that, at times, it evokes a physical reaction. One source of these moments occurs when I hear the gentle cooing of pigeons as they gather on the window ledges of the loft and even occasionally on the skylight! I find the colours of these pigeons to be truly beautiful -- soft and sometimes iridescent shades of grey, pink and blue. I have unwavering confidence in Jessica's ability to transform any bird into a work of art! So I asked her to create tree garlands, cardholders and beautiful prints that would become a central, even defining, feature of both the Loft and the Lookbook. So, what better way to bring all these elements together than through the dining room's place setting? By combining it with the Midnight Blue Fable dinnerware, we pay tribute to Jessica's trust in my (possibly odd?) pigeon vision! I have a fondness for those other feathered denizens of our city life, seagulls, too (find out more about them on page 134).

Let There Be (Christmas) Cake! As you might have noted by now, I’m into the colour pink. Not vibrant Barbie pink, but more of the subtle, natural shades and hues of peonies, hydrangeas and corals. Of late, when it comes to interior settings and decorating, I'm irresistibly drawn to soft pinks and florals. Recently, I decided to push the boundaries with a Christmas-y opulent ‘table scape’ using our decorative holiday items brought in from Tuck. I incorporated various shades of pink, stripes, baubles, vintage ornament placemats, and, of course, chocolates (Hello Chocolate and Ganong make a cameo appearance). The pièce de resistance, however and the overall inspiration for this table setting was one of the most glorious cakes I've ever laid eyes on, lovingly created by Heather Whalen (the only thing Robert likes better than cake is…nothing). A special thanks to my dear friend Michelle Hooton who, once again this year, cut and dried hydrangea for me to use in our Lookbook.

Kitchen I'm generally bonkers about this loft but one particular aspect that I’m really happy with is the open concept kitchen. The perfect placement of appliances and the general layout is a credit to the previous owners. However, as is often the case when moving into a new space, you want to put your own stamp on things. That said, very few changes were needed. So here are three cost-effective adjustments I made to soften the industrial aesthetics and harmonize it with the floral dining room wallpaper and the soft neutrals throughout the living room: 1. Painted the tiles: Yes, you read that correctly! I confess I'm not a fan of subway tiles. Before you grab your pitchforks, let me explain. I visit so many homes every month and I’d guess eight out of ten of them have subway tiles in their kitchens and bathrooms. So, for my own kitchen, I was determined to find a way to downplay it.
The solution? We painted the backsplash with Benjamin Moore's robust SCUFF-X finish, opting for Saybrook Sage (HC-114) to add warmth to the otherwise "white" space. 2. We swapped out the black industrial hanging pendants: In their place, we introduced a cozy woven lampakanay grass wall sconce. It bathes the island in warm light. 3. Added Peel & Stick tiles to the front of the peninsula: This cost-effective move brought an impactful holiday flair with a classic star pattern. (Another confession: I’ve always been dismissive of Peel & Stick. Now I’m a convert!) And oh, yes! We painted the lower cabinets black as a means to tie in with other black elements in the space, including the appliances, the dining room fireplace, and the wrought iron elements on the historic clock face that dominates the living room. Principal Bedroom For more than two decades I've been a devoted reader and subscriber to the London-based glossy Magazine, Living etc. Right from the start, I was captivated by their use of bold patterns, vibrant colours, striking artwork, and a distinctive maximalism that set it apart from other publications. Among the recurring decorative elements that frequently grace the pages of Living etc are disco balls and pleated paper ornaments like bells and trees. When I embarked on the journey of reimagining this loft, I saw it as an opportunity to indulge my passion for patterns, colours, stripes, and yes, disco balls. (in case you missed it see pg.18 ) The principal bedroom fills me with pure delight every time I step into it! Even though it's decorated for a "bold" Christmas, I made decorating choices that would continue to bring joy yearround.
The Diderot wallpaper served as the starting point, not just for the bedroom but for the entire loft (you'll notice its consistent presence in the principal washroom and dining room, albeit in a different colourway). Given the 20-foot concrete ceilings, it was essential to ensure that every element I introduced into this space brought with it colour, pattern and warmth. The ruby red bed, the scalloped carpet, the striped fireplace, Robert’s painting and the Heracleum lights from Moooi gleaming overhead, all work to render this bedroom a statement about the possibilities of uptown loft living.

En Suite Washroom Bathrooms, by their very nature, all but bristle with hard, shiny surfaces, and understandably so: glass showers, tile floors, and walls are all designed to be durable, waterproof, and easy to disinfect. This principal bathroom boasts many elements I adore: a double sink, breathtaking views of the beautiful harbour (perfect for watching cruise ships and Area 506 concerts), a spacious walk-in shower that’s a breeze to clean. Yet, I found it lacking warmth. Out of all the rooms in the loft, this one presented the most significant challenge in terms of how to infuse some coziness and floral drama without ripping out tiles or glass. How do we transform a bathroom dominated by hard surfaces into a lush and inviting space? Here’s what we did in 5 steps! 1. We swapped out the nondescript ceiling light and replaced it with what a client once charmingly referred to as a knitted pendant. The lampshade is in fact crafted from lampakaniai rope, I loved their analogy, how it perfectly encapsulates the feeling I wanted to create in this space: a warm, embracing hug from the ceiling in the form of this oversized pendant.
2. Next, we replaced the industrial galvanized farmhouse sconces with some warm brass ones! 3. Instead of having two mirrors, I opted for a single large oak mirror to incorporate wood elements that complement the pendant. 4. One of the most magical moments in this transformation came from an unexpected source: the floral wallpaper on the vanity. It was born out of what initially seemed like a major decorating fail. I had originally asked Robert to use some leftover gold paint from the guest bedroom to go over the black-painted vanity using an argyle stencil. The end result, however, was a decorating version of that TV series 'Nailed It’ only with paint instead of cake! But, as they say, the only way to find the best direction is to take two steps in the wrong one. Ultimately, the bad stencil led me to a leftover roll of wallpaper which we applied it to the front of the cabinets to what I think is a stunning effect. Another roll was used on the opposite wall behind the towel hooks. 5. To complete the transformation, we added a luxurious floral mat. See Before Photos Here!

Guest Bedroom
Highlights in this room include:
Decorating this guest bedroom was initially quite tricky. I found myself agonizing about the choice of wallpaper for the back wall for quite some time.
Jessica's set of four mouse paintings – how fitting that the artist herself gets to sleep in the room where her artwork is displayed!
Perhaps it was because I had invested so much effort into the primary bedroom, with its abundance of florals, patterns, stripes, and a vibrant colour palette. This led me to (mistakenly) considering replicating a similar style in this room! I was wrong!
I asked Robert to create some small pieces specifically designed to fit within the rustic second hand frames I had on hand. This idea was inspired by a visit to an exhibition at the Amsterdam Museum, where I was captivated by the "gold leaf" walls and ornate frames. The "Golden Bark" paint colour and the use of these secondhand frames worked wonderfully!
Once I decided to make the Spindle bed the centerpiece, it became evident that this room should exude a more "serene" and traditional atmosphere compared to our primary bedroom. So, instead of selecting wallpaper, I opted for a warm, "gold-like" wall as a backdrop for displaying artwork in antique frames. Additionally, since this room primarily serves as a guest space, especially during the holiday season when Mike and Jess come to visit, I aimed to decorate it with traditional holiday colours and decor.
I must admit I have a deep appreciation for this year's limited edition of Area 506's Boxcar Silkscreen by Geordan Moore. Definitely worth framing! The icing on the cake for this room? The incredible view it offers of the waterfront development, The Fundy Quay! Follow Fundy Quay & Area 506

Guest Washroom Remember that confession I made earlier in the kitchen section about not being a fan of subway tile? Well, I faced a similar challenge here in this guest washroom: it's entirely covered in subway tile in the bath & shower area. The choices made by the previous owners were logical ones and because of that I had no intention of tearing out perfectly good tile I had to make cosmetic changes rather than renovating ones! Staying true to my overarching goal of adding warmth to this somewhat industrial space, I turned to my favourite fabric designers, House of Hackney! The solution was to create a floor-to-ceiling shower curtain that would conceal all that tile. Can you see it now? No? Exactly! Also, as the guest washroom is situated just off the main foyer of the loft, the door is often left ajar, and I was determined to make this space a visual standout within the rest of the loft when guests peeked in.
FIVE KEYS TO UPDATING THIS POWDER ROOM! 1. Create a striking focal point with custom House of Hackney Majorelle Cotton Linen, Ecru fabric, hiding the subway tile and softening the room. 2. Paint the vanity with a classic black paint – Benjamin Moore's "Twilight Zone." 3. Add two whimsical knobs to infuse a touch of glamour. 4. Swap out the mirror and introduce a charming sconce to maintain the floral mood of the shower curtain. 5. Complete the space with a bold yet functional bathmat and some over-thetoilet shelving which is both practical and offers decorating opportunities. Read on to discover more about our collaboration with The Sewist!

The Sewing Collaboration: For those who can't sew, my (obvious) advice is: find someone who can! Once I had the gorgeous House of Hackney fabric in hand, I knew I needed to reach out to our neighbors down on Water Street to create the shower curtain. Jacquie and her daughter Madlyn exceeded all expectations. With the leftover fabric, they had the best idea: to create a dress for Emily and a necklace for me! Thank you, Neighbors! Flex Space In an open concept loft like this one, every added element requires careful consideration. This is especially true when it comes to TV placement. We decided to relocate it upstairs to avoid having to arrange our seating around the dominant television on the main floor. Additionally, there's something delightful about being elevated, particularly during the daytime when we're closer to the skylight. It's not uncommon for seagulls and pigeons to perch on the skylight and observe us from above! I also appreciate the proximity to the concrete walls and ceiling up there. The Gus* Renfrew sectional is the ideal blend of comfort, making it perfect for watching movies and snuggling with Robert, Emily, and Jack.

Emily & Jack’s Hideout What lies behind the secret door? As you ascend to the top of the landing, you'll find yourself in what we affectionately call the 'flex space.' Here, a rolling door reveals an unexpected treasure trove of additional storage for the loft. My first encounter with this space was when our friends, Jeff and Sophie, the previous owners of the loft, unveiled its secret. I was captivated by what would become a marvellous 'hidden sanctuary' for their two teenage sons. Instantly, I knew that I wanted to transform this space into something extraordinary for our grandchildren, Jack and Emily. During their visits to our cottage, they had already claimed our upstairs closet as their secret hideout, with Emily making the classic "Hideout – Keep out!" sign in crayons! To recreate the magic here in the city, I imagined a cozy hideout to accommodate two single beds and create a dedicated 'gaming' corner for them when they visit from Nova Scotia.
SHARE TO
Designing this unusual space presented more than a few unique challenges. Firstly, a sizable beam partly obstructs the entrance, making it accessible primarily to nimble, young legs. Finding furniture that could easily fit through the entrance was, you should forgive the expression, no small feat! My goal was to make this space magical, not just during Christmas (with new books and treats from their favourite uptown spots, Paddington Station and Freak Lunchbox), but throughout the year when they visit, a place to stay when they embark on adventures to the container village, spend quality time with Papa and Judith, and, for Jack, soon to be working his first summer job at Tuck. (Emily, not far behind!)
See Before Photos Here!
Challenging space + unique opportunities = Kid’s Awesome Hideout This ‘closet’ is SMALL! It measures just 6'5" inches in width and 25' in length. A structural metal beam crosses the 29-inch opening into the hideout. How did we best capitalize on this space to make it cozy & functional? We started by painting everything in Benjamin Moore's Oxford White to brighten and visually expand the room. Wallpaper had a multi-faceted role, dividing the space, emphasizing the high ceilings, and introducing essential colours and patterns. We carefully selected space-appropriate furniture, including armless chairs for visual efficiency and comfort. To maintain cohesion in this distinctive room, we adhered to a 'pairs' concept, using duplicates for items like beds, bed linens, chairs, lights, and wallpaper.
Thank you to Olivia Roh for the CAD drawings!

Tuck Team's Gift Giving Top 5 Picks!
Judith's
1
Top Five Picks! 1 - Loloi x Rifle Paper Co. Ostrich Pillow, down fill
Okay, seriously! Who comes up with these absolutely enchanting cushion creations? Rifle Paper & Co, that's who! I couldn't contain my excitement when this delightful cushion made its debut earlier this year. Those intricately embroidered legs get me. every. single. time! It's more than just a cushion; it's a bona fide statement piece for your sofa, chair, or bed!
2
2 - Jessica Connors Pigeon Garland
If you've been following along in this Lookbook, you've probably noticed a recurring theme: Pigeons! These feathered friends are an iconic part of Uptown Saint John's culture, and they can always be heard cooing away on the 4th-floor ledge here in the Loft. I approached Jessica with a special request to craft a festive garland for all my fellow 'Johners' who share the same sense of civic pride and admiration for these avian companions as I do!
3
3 - Newwall Diderot Wallpaper, all colours
The Diderot Coordonné is a real heart-racer. Its patterns and colorways are absolutely stunning, among the most beautiful illustrated paper I've come across in quite some time. I was so smitten that I couldn't resist using it in three different colorways in the loft. It's an understated yet breathtaking addition that brings an elegant touch to the space, suitable not just for the holiday season but for year-round beauty. And let me give you a fair warning: you'll be seeing a lot of this paper in the new year in our client's homes!
4 - Gus* Circuit Armless Chair, Himalaya Dune
Jack and Emily swear by these as the ultimate gaming chairs, and for me, they were the ideal choice to complete a highly specialized hideout nook! Sure, the boucle fabric might be considered "trendy," but who cares when they're this comfortable? What's more, each component (chair, ottoman, and corner piece) can seamlessly connect with concealed connectors, making them versatile and perfect for cozy cuddling sessions too!

5 - Kew Gardens Fig & Grape Soap, with shea butter
5
If you put anything with a stunning botanical illustration and moody tones in front of me, I'm done for! The English Soap Company, recently added to our Tuck offerings, is a vegan-friendly soap infused with the delightful fragrance of fig and grape, enhanced by a gentle blend of peach and orange, blond woods, coconut, musks, sandalwood, cedarwood, and dry amber. What makes it even more special is the paper wrapping adorned with enchanting illustrations drawn from the historical archives of Kew Gardens. Just look at that super-cute bee!
Heather's Top Five Picks! 1 - Nuevo Patrik Chair, true blue
This is likely the best piece of furniture I've ever purchased! It's one of those special pieces that seems to fit every body that sits in it, but what drew me to it most was its striking mid-century aesthetic. With a solid wood frame that wraps the full back of the chair, its design looks incredible from all angles!
2 - Ethnicraft Satellite Bowl, mahogany dark brown
1
It can be tricky to know how to accessorize a dining table or kitchen island, but this new Satellite Bowl from Ethnicraft makes it simple! Its sculptural form means that it looks great empty, but it can be easily elevated with fruit, ornaments or seasonal foliage. Just imagine it spilling with moss in the spring/summer and pomegranates in the fall/winter!
2
3 - Klippan House in the Forest Blanket, blue
I love the idea of gifting a blanket because it's designed to bring comfort to your loved one, and they'll likely think of you when they cozy up with it! These heirloom quality wool blankets from Klippan are sure to be treasured for many years to come!
3
4 - A White Nest Blue Floral Mug, style #1
I might have a thing for pottery, and these mugs, handmade in Tobique Narrows by Karen Christensen, hit all the right notes for me. They're beautifully crafted, the perfect size, and they just feel right in your hand. Plus, they look great on display when not being used!
5 - Death & Co Welcome Home, A Cocktail Recipe Book
Okay, I'm sensing a theme here - I seem to be drawn to functional items that look great when not in use. This book is as educational as it is attractive. Plus, maybe if you gift this book to someone, they'll test out a recipe on you!

Top Five Picks! 1 - Zora Forged Candlestick Holders, three sizes
There's no such thing as "too many candles" in my home! And every candle needs its partner in crime, a candlestick. And these forged ones are like the James Bond of elegance – understated, yet effortlessly chic! They're the secret agents of sophisticated soirées, but they're also down for everyday hangouts.
2 1 2 - Check Weave Cushion, black This checkerboard cushion is like a cozy, yet burning hot cocoa – simultaneously warm and bold! It's the layering perfection, great for snuggling up with plain cushions or for being the cherry on top of a sassy and daring pillow arrangement. No matter where you plop it, this cushion knows how to make a statement!
3 - Gus* Modern Odeon Accent Tables, oak
It had my heart even before I joined the crew in Tuck! This table effortlessly complements all the vintage gems we've already collected, and it sneakily introduces a touch of modern flair without screaming, "Look at me!" And let's talk about oak – it's like a warm, cozy hug for a space, a ray of sunshine on even the gloomiest days.
3
4 - Lanai Seagrass Baskets, large & small 4
4
1
Alright, I'll spill the beans - I've got a thing with baskets! I mean, ever since I can remember myself, strolling into a home decor store, you'd find me gravitating straight to the basket section, every single time, no kidding! But here's the deal: oversized baskets are where my wildest dreams come to life! The moment I laid eyes on one, a million light bulbs went off in my head. I could use it for our Christmas tree, or maybe give a cozy home to my beloved palm plant. It's the answer to that weird empty spot next to the dresser, and trust me, the list goes on and on!
5
5 - Conform Timeout Chair & Footstool, white sheepskin
Let's be honest, it's an irresistible temptation! Once your eyes lock onto this beauty, resistance is pointless. And once you're cozily nestled in, there's no going back. Plus, when you throw in a cozy sheepskin and pair it with those long Canadian winters, suddenly, they don't seem so harsh! It's the ultimate winter-warmth combo for me!
Kate's
Top Five Picks! 1 - Fable The Cappuccino Cups, midnight blue
My eyes instantly lit up when I first saw these in person! I love that the Cappuccino cups have a touch of a unique imprint while still being a cohesive set, as they are all made by hand in Portugal (as is the case with all of Fable’s stone-wear)! Plus, the exquisite Midnight Blue shade feels perfectly suited for the transition into the fall/winter months!
2 - Herman Miller Eames Hang it All, walnut
I love pieces that are as whimsical and artistic as they are practical! We all need somewhere to hang the everexpanding assortment of coats, scarves, hats, shopping bags, dog leashes, etc… Rather stuffing it into a hall closet, why not display your belongings in a more curated and creative way with this sculptural wall unit!
1 2
3 3 - Gus* Baltic Chair & Ottoman Suite, velvet russet/ walnut Gus* tried to impart the spirit of Nordic minimalism into the design of this chair and ottoman, and I think it's safe to say that they achieved just that. From the way the soft, angled wooden arms wrap the entire way around the chair, making it sculptural pleasing from all angles; to how the seat is angled to support the lower back, inviting you to lean back and rest your feet up on the ottoman - it instantly makes you want to cozy up with good book and a mug of hot chocolate!
4 - Duke Blois Serving Board, cherry with walnut stem
Tis the season for charcuterie boards (Let’s be real – they never go out of season, but they are certainly more abundant during the holidays!) Local artisan, Duke Blois’s hand-crafted wood boards are perfect for elegantly serving your own assortment of cured meats and cheeses to your guests– Not to mention they make the best thoughtful and unique gifts (as no two are alike)!
5
4
5 - Brown Icelandic Sheepskin, chair pad
These Sheepskin Chair pads are such a great and simple way to elevate your seating during the fall and winter months! They add a touch of texture and warmth to the overall aesthetic, while providing the practical purpose of creating a more comfortable place to sit back and enjoy those wonderful evenings of great conversation over a shared bottle of wine!

1 - EQ3 Marcel Single Dresser, oak
Top Five Picks! 2
The Marcel dresser is a versatile addition to any home, available in your choice of oak or walnut, with oak being my personal favourite. The distinctive trestle base and stylish handle details bring a modern twist to this piece. Beyond its visual charm, it functions as a practical storage solution. I find it particularly appealing as an alternative to an entryway table allowing you to neatly organize mittens and hats, ensuring you are well-prepared for the chilly weather ahead. This dresser effortlessly harmonizes style and functionality to enhance any living space.
3
2 - EQ3 Anya Vases, round, tall, and wide
Anya vases are the ideal gift for anyone who appreciates simplicity and nature's beauty. These petite vases offer a charming way to showcase a single garden-picked flower or a small plant cutting. Whether displayed individually or as a delightful trio, they effortlessly infuse any space with a touch of greenery. Share the gift of nature's charm with the Anya vases, a thoughtful choice for loved ones or yourself.

3 - Pamela Marie Pierce Artwork, untitled # 6
I'm consistently captivated by every collection Pamela creates, and her latest one is no exception. This particular piece beautifully captures the essence of fall, with the red scarf delicately intertwined in the trees infusing the scene with warmth and whimsy.
4- Ticking Cushion, black
I love the versatility of the Ticking cushion. It's perfect for pairing with solid color cushions and effortlessly complements various patterns. These cushions not only elevate the overall aesthetic but also introduce a delightful sense of comfort and dimension to any sofa or bed, making them an excellent addition to any home.
5 - Indaba Reindeer Forged Candlestick, 2 sizes
5
The reindeer forged candlesticks effortlessly bring a beautiful subtle touch of Christmas to any setting. Whether they grace a dining table, find their place on a mantelpiece, or take the spotlight as the centerpiece of a festive gathering, these elegant candlesticks exude the holiday spirit with grace and charm.

Top Five Picks! 1 - Klippan Gotland Throw Blanket, beige
When it’s not on walls, I do like beige. Its neutral, warm tones pair beautifully with white, black, green, and navy. When I see this throw, it conjures up images of cozy evenings by the fireplace, cradling a hot cup of tea, enjoying the company of friends and family or delving into a good book.
2 - Coordonné Stripe 2 Wallpaper, Tinta
If you haven't already guessed, I have a penchant for timeless decor and design. Take, for instance, this striped wallpaper by Coordonné. It strikes a perfect balance, offering just the right amount of pattern to infuse visual intrigue into a space without ever becoming overpowering. It exudes sophistication and understated elegance and is remarkably versatile, coming in a choice of nine different colorways. Whether you want to pair it with a bold floral pattern or use it to wallpaper an entire room, this wallpaper is a timeless choice that effortlessly elevates any interior.

3
3 - Viski Belmont Gatsby Glass Tumblers, set of 2
4 - EQ3 Drum End Table, veneer & solid acacia
The EQ3 Drum table effortlessly embodies a contemporary aesthetic without succumbing to trends. With its dark finish on the acacia wood, it brings a touch of sophistication to the room it’s in, while also introducing a sculptural element. What's more, the broad base feels more stable than other tables, which means less tipping over when bumped or leaned on.
4 5
These glasses inspire me to step up my cocktail game. With a sophisticated, art deco-inspired design, they are perfect additions to a bar cart, with their brass bases. I've come across a recipe for a sparkling apple ginger mocktail recently, and I think it will be perfect in one of these stylish glasses.
5 - Gus* Wallace Sofa, Canyon Whiskey Leather
As I take in the timelessness of the Gus* Wallace Sofa, I find myself instantly feeling more refined. It's like a sudden impulse to upgrade my style with a tailored herringbone suit, enjoy some cigars, and savour a top-notch bottle of Scotch whiskey has taken over. This sofa seems to have a unique ability to elevate not just a room but also your sense of sophistication and taste.
