Anyone for tennis? Juicy Escape will feature a championship court

Hot, hot, hot, and we’re not just talking about the balmy temps the Algarve enjoys for much of the year. Construction at Jason’s brand-new retreat Juicy Escape is progressing and the structure and layout of this UNRIVALLED health centre is starting to take shape. Jason headed down from Juicy Oasis to the Algarve in early December to check in on progress and grabbed these shots, including an update of what is set to be the Sports Zone at the heart of the retreat. They say Rome wasn’t built in a day and the transformation of a barren 40-acre site into a stunning, world-class retreat is taking a little longer than Jason would ideally like, but you can’t rush perfection and that’s certainly the hallmark of what will be an AMAZING health and fi tness destination.

First up is a 200m running track in the mini Olympic area, the perfect place to improve your PB under the warm Algarve sunshine. You can also master a 60m sprint (any budding Usain Bolts in the house?), hurdles, long jump and high jump, or enjoy a workout at the Santa Monica-inspired outside gym. So, if you want to improve your athleticism, Juicy Escape is the place to be. For those who prefer group activities, there will be a football pitch, basketball, beach volleyball, If you enjoy the challenge of a Tough Mudder event, championshipstandard tennis and paddle courts in the Sports Zone, you will LOVE this endurance-test zone plus a spin studio, rebounding platform and a boxing ring. And don’t forget the AWESOME military assault course which has been personally designed by Jason who doesn't do anything by halves. If you enjoy the challenge of a Tough Mudder event, you will LOVE this endurance-test zone.

Don’t worry if you’re not the competitive type, there will be plenty of FUN at Juicy Escape too, with a roller rink and skateboard half pipe to perfect your flip tricks, a challenging climb wall, zip slide, putting green and Silent Disco Dome to cha-cha-change things up. ‘The Den’ will house a pool table, darts, table tennis and retro-classic Space Invaders game – the perfect place to chill out and enjoy a relaxing glass of fresh juice! When it’s time to dial the adrenaline down a notch, head to the Yoga Studio for one of the best classes you’ll ever experience, take a dip in the heated swimming pool or enjoy the Juice Master Retreats'

‘Golden Triangle’ of a session in the Loft Sauna followed by a dunk in the cold plunge pool and then a brief burst in the hot whirlpool – it’s an experience that’s guaranteed to leave you feeling truly alive! And, of course, there’ll be a full menu of delicious treatments at the Juicy Escape Spa, including Dial the adrenaline Jason’s favourite down a notch and head to the Yoga cryotherapy chamber and Juice Master Retreats’ Studio for one of signature the best classes ever Rainforest Massage. After dark, the open-air cinema will be the place to catch an inspirational movie or two, at the tiered, Dolby surround sound theatre – don’t worry, the transport is provided as there are plenty of pedal bikes and electric scooters
