That was the tabloid press’s reaction to the steamy shots that TV’s Carol
Vorderman
shared on Instagram during a late-
September stay at Juicy Oasis.
Carol, who turned 61 at the end of last year, looks INCREDIBLE in the snaps from her juicy getaway where she enjoyed a week of juice, yoga and fitness to detox and drop a few pounds. Carol, who was our celebrity interview last issue, spoke of her venture to reset her biological age, devoting a year to her health with a daily regime of lengthy walks, weightlifting and paddleboarding sessions to build her strength. She also talked about her love of Jason, saying, “He never fails to make me laugh, I adore him. He’s as adventurous and mischievous as I am, in fact I could be Jason’s twin sister, we’re so alike.” Having taken part in Jason’s Virtual Retreat during lockdown at the start of 2021, Carol was overdue a stay at Juicy Oasis, which she has visited many times, and checked in for a week’s break ahead of a busy month as host of the Pride of Britain Awards. Posting a string of steamy shots to Instagram as she enjoyed the retreat’s hot tub and a midnight swim, Carol also shared a video of a cryotherapy session which she described as ‘three minutes for healing and health’. The deep freeze helps to boost metabolic rate as temperatures drop to -200° – after a single session the body can burn around 400-700 calories as it uses energy to heat back up. Feeling fabulous at the end of the week, Carol posted, "A week of just fresh juices, LOADS of walking, a few sweaty gym sessions, massages, swimming in the moonlight, saunas, stretching out, salt baths, cryotherapy, NO MAKE UP (bliss) and otherwise hanging around in a dressing gown and bikini… oh and HOT TUBS. Yessssssssss… will be back soon.” Can't wait to see you again, Carol. ●
