English scheme

ENGLISH SCHEME PURPOSE: The purpose of the course is to obtain an A2 level according to the standards of the Common European Framework of Reference. This level involves a basic knowledge of the language that allows the normal school student, communicate orally and written in family and familiar surroundings near contexts.

Indirectly develop skills that can be useful for life as teaching professionals:   

Develops different strategies for learning a second language (cognitive , mnemonic , compensation, emotional , social and cognitive meta) .

Use the technological means and sources of information available in English to stay updated on the various subject areas and educational fields involved in their teaching.

Critically examines the cognitive and social impact that learning a foreign language is at school.

SKILLS PROFILE EXIT TO CONTRIBUTE TO THIS COURSE:  Apply communication skills in various contexts. o Develop your communication or to acquire new language skills. o Use a second language to communicate.  Uses information technology and communication. o Participate in community work and collaborative networks through the use of technology.

Considering that the aim of the course is to encourage students to develop communication skills in English, is suggested working with the fundamentals of Social Constructivism and Experiential Learning . 

The courses will promote the evaluation of three types:

1. Summative assessment tests means and end of course.

2. Formative evaluation : Through the portfolio of evidence and continuous assessment in class.

3. Assessment " illuminative " or self - assessment : Through self-reflection exercises as checklists and rubrics self-assessment included in portfolios.
