Executive Summary Welcome to On Location!
Good Day! We are now in the full swing of things on site in Battle Creek. Over the past month or so we have finished up a number of tasks. We completed all of the electrical, mechanical and plumbing wall installations. Following MEP wrap-up, we were able to hang drywall and prepare it for finishes. We have found some unforeseen conditions, but we continue to press on and bring home a successful project. In the upcoming weeks we will be painting, installing ceiling grid and starting to install the ceiling fixtures. We will also be starting our casework installation and Electrical / Plumbing Finishes. The look of the center is really coming to life! Brad Giha, Senior Project Manager bradg@elzinga-volkers.com

A term you might hear on our site but may not be familiar with is PPE, which stands for Personal Protective Equipment. Examples of PPE include items such as gloves, high visibility clothing, foot and eye protection, protective hearing devices and hard hats. Some of these items, like hard hats and eye protection, are required 100% of the time on-site, while others, like gloves, are required only when performing certain tasks. Elzinga & Volkers exceeds OSHA standards when it comes to PPE to ensure that all of our workers return home safe every day.
