Building Together Canterbury on the Lake - Facility Addition & Renovations

Monthly Funny

PM Summary As I write this final column, the first residents are being moved into the Memory Care Addition; furniture and artwork are being installed in the connector, dining room and last phase of the Health Center; and the sun is shining over Waterford, Michigan. While this project has been challenging on many fronts, the quality of the end product and the safety and comfort of the residents were never compromised. I am very proud to have been a part of this unique and beautiful project, as I know others on our team are who were instrumental in putting it all together. While the spaces are all occupied, there are some finishing touches taking place during this month as we complete the punch list and some final tie-in points. In the spring, we will be back to complete the landscaping and irrigation. I want to thank all of you who were involved in this project‌from those whose hands placed the building blocks, to those whose eyes oversaw the work, to the those whose ears put up with the noise. “It takes a villageâ€? and that has never been more true on a construction project. I pray blessing on these new and renovated spaces and the people who will find comfort and healing in them. God bless you!

Best regards,

Joe Novakoski, P.E. Vice President of Operations / Senior Project Manager joenova@elzinga-volkers.com
