Project Update The project has been making some significant progress over the past couple of weeks. Allied Electric, Van Dyken Mechanical and Godwin Plumbing have all put in the extra effort to get the 2 nd and 3rd floors ready for access flooring on November 25. Godwin has the water lines and drain line installed through the two floors. Because of the constant fight with the weather, this was not a small feat. In addition to Godwin pushing through on the 2nd and 3rd floors, Van Dyken installed and covered all of their HVAC ductwork on the upper two floors of the building.
While the interior continues to progress, a couple of major exterior task items have finished in the last two weeks. The first was enclosing the building. Vos Glass installed glass along the east wall, Mikalan completed the TPO roof and E&V installed temporary enclosures around the building where the final pieces are not ready to be put in place. In addition, the temporary heaters have been installed and turned on. With these two significant items complete, we can start to condition the building over the weekend so we are ready for the access flooring and continue to move forward on the project.

Project Forecast Installing the access flooring is the major working element for the next two weeks. G3 Technologies has jumped right into the critical path, and they are ready to shine. G3 will have complete control of the upper two floors while they are laying out and installing the access flooring due to the space they need and the hazard that the new change in elevation will present. Once G3 has one third of the access flooring installed and stabilized, we will start staging interior wall materials throughout the building. Ritsema Associates will start laying out interior pod walls as well as some of the shaft walls.
On the exterior of the building, Vos Glass will continue on the critical path. They will have one crew continuing to install glass where the frames are installed and another crew installing aluminum frames on the west and south elevations. It is imperative that we continue to push the installation of glass because having the final product will be a much better weather barrier and take-off point for the remaining interior trades.
