Clark at Franklin | Renovation Project
Framing 3RD Floor, West Bristol
Greetings all and welcome to April’s edition of Inside Scoop: Clark At Franklin. Over the past month the project has continued to steam full speed ahead, many exciting milestones have been reached, but one was particularly notable. In March, we wrapped up or final phase of structural shoring in the corridor that services the pool. As stated in previous newsletters, the shoring has been the biggest challenge thus far on the project and having it completed is a major hurdle that we have now surpassed. While the shoring is now complete in this area, crews are working diligently to put the area back together so that by the end of the month, you will have access to the pool once again! On the 2nd floor (East) Epworth, all of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough-in’s have been completed making way for the start of our next big milestone, drywall. On April 1st, the drywall hangers started on site to begin working on the installation of over 24,500 square feet of drywall (which equates to about 765 sheets)! Over the next month, the new apartments on the 2nd floor (East) Epworth will start to take their final form as the drywall work begins and continues on through the month and into May. On the 2nd floor (West) Oxford, framing is all but complete, as it is scheduled to wrap up the 2nd week of April with mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough-in’s beginning the 2nd week of April as well. On the 3rd floor (West) Bristol, the framing crew is about 50% complete and by the end of this month all interior framing will be finished! Stay tuned! Nick Novakoski Project Manager
