THE CONSTRUCTION ZONE St. Patrick’s & St. Anthony’s Addition & Remodeling Project Newsletter
Groundbreaking - 7/28/16
I would like to introduce our project newsletter, The Construction Zone. Each month we will share a general update on the project, introduce our trade partners, share a few photos and give you some facts from the construction world. For our first issue, we are happy to report that our project is off to a good start with footings and foundations being set so that we are ready for the mason to start laying block. In the weeks ahead we will also be installing the under slab plumbing that will serve the sinks and restrooms on the main floor.

I hope that you are able to check out the site work that is happening behind the Family Center. Electrical and gas lines are being relocated, foundations are being poured, and fill sand has been brought in to get the site up to grade. The Master Planning Committee meets every week to review the plan details and the “four week” schedule. Soon there will be a temporary wall erected in the church that will block off the entire south transept. Accompanying that wall will be the relocation of the tabernacle and the grotto. The south cry room will be closed off as well. Much is happening, it’s pretty exciting! While much of the news results in “another disruption” we can be reassured of the wonderful outcome and improvements that await us. Join me in developing a new level of patience as we experience an ongoing challenge over the next ten months. May God be praised! Father Chuck
