Executive Summary
Fundraising Update
It’s back to school time and we are all asking ourselves, “Where has the summer gone?” Our project has made significant strides over the past few weeks, and despite the heat and some inopportune downpours, we continue to stay on target for a November move-in date. Our roof is currently being constructed, following its completion we will start hanging drywall, once that is complete, the interior of the building will come together very quickly. If you haven’t done so in a while, we invite you to log onto the project webcam for a look at your new Education Center.

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for God who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds… encouraging one another.” – Hebrews 10:23-24

From the Parish Dear Friends, This week our parish and school staff had an opportunity to tour the new building. There were smiles galore as everyone began to envision what the finished product would look like and the many enhanced opportunities there would be to educate our children. After years of discussion and countless artist sketches and architectural designs, the new education center and school is finally becoming a reality. Everyone in the parish is talking about it with keen interest, and even friends from Grand Rapids who drive by on the way to Lake Michigan are excited for our parish. We still have a way to go in order to make the classrooms usable, and there is a significant amount of money that still needs to be raised,
but the end feels much closer than the beginning. As the school kids return this upcoming week to their sweltering classrooms, everyone is very appreciative of the fact that in only a few months all of the education will be done in an air conditioned space! Thank you again to all of the contractors and laborers who have been working so hard during the hot summer months to keep us on schedule so that our kids can be in their new building by Thanksgiving! God has truly blessed our parish with the work that is being done. Father Dave
