THE BLUEPRINT BULLETIN St. Mary’s Education Center Construction Newsletter
Executive Summary
Our students may be thinking about summer fun but our construction teams focus is on getting your education center ready for this November. We have completed all of the block walls on the first floor and are now moving ahead with the second floor. One of our challenges over the next few weeks will be adding the new floor above what is currently your music room, nursery and pantry. To accomplish this work we’ll be cutting open the existing roof and building new block walls along with extending the elevator and stairs up another story. Our team will be watching the weather closely as we get into this critical phase of the project. We hope you are enjoying our beautiful Michigan weather and look forward to sharing our progress with you in the months ahead.

From the Parish Dear Friends, It is so exciting to see our new school and education center taking shape! The transformation of our property in such a short amount of time is truly amazing. I have been getting many positive comments not only from parishioners and school families, but also from people I know from Grand Rapids who have driven by on their way to the lake. We continue to thank God for the beautiful weather He has given us, which has enabled us to stay on or ahead of schedule, and we give thanks for the hard work of all of the contractors and trades people who have put so much effort into our new building!
