Meet Your Field Manager!
Executive Summary Welcome to On Location!
The project is in the final stages of completion and is looking great. Everyone has stepped up admirably. Asphalt paving was installed on Sunday. Striping was completed with snow flurries in the air. It would have been nice to be a week further ahead at punchlist time, but given obstacles that had to be overcome I’m very pleased. Punchlist completion is progressing on schedule and should be complete by December 16th. Donor beds have been delivered. These will be assembled and set in place this week. Grifols furniture is also starting to arrive. Given that this project is less than one week from completion, this will be our final newsletter. We hope that you have enjoyed the project updates and found the information useful! Brad Frey, Senior Project Manager bradf@elzinga-volkers.com

As the winter weather begins to arrive, we thought it would be good to revisit cold weather protection. Prolonged exposure to freezing or cold temperatures may cause serious health problems such as trench foot, frostbite and hypothermia. In extreme cases, including cold water immersion, exposure can lead to death. Danger signs include uncontrolled shivering, slurred speech, clumsy movements, fatigue and confused behavior. If these signs are observed, call for emergency help. Be smart and listen to what your body is telling you!
