OF INTEREST APRIL 27-30, CLEVELAND CLAW 17 moves back to Downtown Cleveland, into the Westin Hotel, our biggest and best hotel yet.The bulk of the CLAW schedule will be at the Westin, including the vendor mart with 45 different vendors, banquets, speed dating, cigar deck and most of the Skills and Education sessions, with some events at the Hampton Inn, bars Leather Stallion Saloon and Mean Bull, FLEX Spa and Hotel and the brand new Academy Dungeon, a 6500 sq.ft well equipped facility that hosts the Men's BDSM Play parties, and hardcore skills sessions. Both the Westin and Hampton are SOLD OUT, but CLAW has big blocks of rooms at the nearby Double Tree and the Kimpton-Schofield hotels.More than 2000 leather men are expected to attend. A complete schedule of CLAW 17 Skills and Education is available on the CLAW website. To celebrate how much Cleveland rocks, CLAW has rented the world renown Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (RRHoF) for a private party on Thursday night from 8pmmidnight.The museum will be fully staffed with all exhibits and bars open with "Inductee Karaoke" on the main stage so pick your song and it must be by an artist that are in the RRHoF. Also new this year: "Naked Pool Parties" at FLEX Spa (Men Only) on Friday and Saturday afternoon including OINK!, sponsored by CLAW sustaining sponsor Nasty Kink Pigs. Friday night's highlight is "Strip Bingo" with hot male strippers. Sunday night finale is "Kinky Kabaret" an amazing show of singers and comics, hosted by CLAW's hilarious emcees Larry Golubski and Lulu Belle, and a special party at the Leather Stallion Saloon on Sunday. CLAW shuttles will run between the hotels and parties at the RRHoF, the Leather Stallion Saloon parties, and Mean Bull, the dance bar attached to FLEX Clevend. CLAW 17 packages include the men's play parties at the Academy and the party at the RRHoF among more than 170 other events.Packages are still only $169/advance ($189 at the door). CLAW volunteer Corp can get packages for free in exchange for 8 hours volunteering at CLAW. Volunteers have acess to a Volunteer Hospitality Suite all weekend, with free hot and cold food and non-alcoholic beverages. Separate tickets are required for a few things at CLAW. Square Peg Toys celebrates their 20th anniversary year as sponsor of The International Leather Family Dinner ($100) on Sunday is the summit of CLAW 17, and the CLAW year. This year features food from Urban Farmer's executive chef, and keynote speech "On Masculinity" by Guy Baldwin. Vote who at your table needs the SPT center piece the most. Don't miss it! The Leather Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies and Brunch ($50) is Sunday and honors living legends Durk Dehner, Peter Fiske and MSC Hamburg, all of whom are expected to attend CLAW 17.
