As we head into the summer months many different events will be happening around the state and all of Metraland so let’s get started and see who is going what… coming up on Saturday, June 3rd it’s Ferndale Pride Festival, with vendors, informational booths, music, artist booths and a beer garden. Then there will be MOTOR CITY PRIDE on Saturday, June 10th and Sunday, June 11th at Hart Plaza in Detroit. The Motor City Pride Parade will start at noon on Sunday. Contrary to some nefarious rumors circulating The Woodward Bar is NOT closing and has NO intention to close! They’re still serving their infamous burgers and fries, and adding NEW items to their food menu. They also have plans to expand their current patio, and this comes from owner’s mouths! …MICHIGAN Ann Arbor: NECTO (734-994-5436), PRIDE FRIDAY presents Motor City Pride KICK-OFF Party on Friday, June 9th hosted by the duo of Laila McQueen and Porcelain. Always a packed house on Pride Friday this event is sure to surpass all expectations!
