The bars and clubs will be starting to get their fall affairs and events in order for those last days of the summer parties! So, let’s see who is doing what and who in Metraland. …MICHIGAN Ann Arbor: NECTO (734-994-5436), PrideFriday Presents a UV PAINT PARTY on Friday, September 1st “NEON & GLOW” with IVY WINTERS PrideFriday and NECTO present on Friday, September 15th its “RAJA” winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race S3. 18+ doors open at 9pm cover is $5 before 11pm, $5 for 21+, $10 for 18-20. 1st Show at 9:45pm and a Encore at 12am, with a Meet and Greet after the Encore. They’re located at 516 E. Liberty Street in Ann Arbor.

Detroit: ADAMS APPLE (313-240-8482), a fun little neighborhood bar with a great covered patio, experienced and friendly bartenders, drink specials and munchies, on most days. Sunday’s are specials with more than munchies offered. Stop in have a few beers or cocktails, always a friendly group of folks. On Saturday, September 16th it’s “LEATHER HIGHT” with $5 lockers for those members in Chaps and Harness. Then on Saturday, September 23rd it’s “COLLEGE NIGHT” with $5 lockers 18-25 years old. They also offer FREE Tanning with a room or locker rental. OPEN: 24/7 and is a private Gay Health Club and you MUST have current ID to enter: Drivers License, Pictured State ID or a current Passport. They’re located at 1617 E. McNichols at I-75, Lighted Fenced Secure Parking Lot with attendant always on duty! BRIGGS Detroit (313-656-4820), is a sports bar and grill open 11am - 2am Tues. - Sun serves lunch & dinner, with a happy hour 3pm - 6pm. They also have some special events coming up for September. Tuesday, September 5th it’s the premiere of “American Horror Story” from 9pm -11pm. Friday, September 8th “Marine Band: San Diego Sound Strike” live on the roof deck from 7pm - 11pm. Then on Sunday, September 17th it’s “EXTRAVAgagaNZA” ALL Gaga ALL day and ALL night. Thursday, September 28th come join them for the premiere of the return of “WILL & GRACE” series. They’re located at 519 E. Jefferson Ave take I-75 south to Jefferson Ave exit turn right it’s about two blocks, across from the Ren Center .

CLUB GOLD COAST & SIN in Detroit (313-366-6135), will have a “GLOW IN THE DARK” Black light party on Friday, September 1st with $5 Glow Green Tea Drinks, and $4 White Gummy Bear shots. Spinning the tunes will be DJ Marquis. FREE Entry before 11pm for those wearing white or neon. On Tuesday, September 12th at 7pm it’s “Mr. Club Gold Coast” Contest this year’s theme is ZODIAC. Then on Tuesday, September 19th at 7pm its “GODDESSES” is the theme for “Miss Amateur Club Gold Coast” Pageant. Coming Tuesday, September 26th is the “Miss Club Gold Coast” Pageant, applications for all, are at the bar. Both bars open daily at 7pm with Male Dancers 7 Nights. ESCAPE BOOKSTORE (313-336-6558), has a huge selection of DVD’s and Videos for rent or sale. Open: Monday – Saturday 10am – midnight, Sundays from noon – 10pm. They’re located at 18728 W. Warren just across the street from Adam’s Apple. HAYLOFT SALOON (313-581-8913), has a whole month of their special events planned on Saturday, September 2nd it’s the 4th Annual “BEARS, BEERS AND GEAR” party. So, if you want to have a great time, and not spend a ton of money, then head downtown and stop in the 2nd Story, located at 157 E. Ohio Street above that Mediterranean restaurant. LEATHER64TEN (773-508-0900), has announced that they will be having their 3rd. Annual Mr. Leather64ten contest to be held in Chicago, March 10th, 2018 – March 11th, 2018. Leather64ten will be hosting a weekend of events to promote their search for the next Mr. Leather64ten to represent them at IML 2018.
