OUT WITH THE OLD IN WITH THE NEW Will future healthcare become more affordable only for the healthy and rich? The US senate recently voted to repeal Obama Care. It’s true, if you’re not healthy you can look forward to paying double or tripple the cost of what you’re paying now for health care coverage with Obama care. Repealing Obama Care has been on Donald Trump’s agenda since he took office as President, and some Republicans dream. It’s been said that some states will be able to keep Obama Care. While Obama Care opposer’s are stating that Obama Care deemed to impose a burden on state’s, companies and individuals. What would it mean to people with a preexisting illness? If Obama Care is eliminated, a person with preexisting conditions would have to pay double to triple the amount they are paying now with Obama Care. This plan will cut medicaid and medicare cost will be granted to a limited amount of people. Poor people would have to go to clinic’s for treatment which is pharmaceutical companies bread, butter and benzes. Pamela Renee, Keep Obama Care 1233 Longworth HOB Washington, DC 20515

A Glimpse of Light

The storm before the breakthrough Sometimes in life unexpected storms come at a time when everything seems to be going the way you had planned. You worked extremely hard, sacrificed everything, and positioned yourself to receive. All the people are in place, and you know that this is your time. You have rehearsed what to say, and in your mind, this is how it’s going to go down. All the chatter is about you getting ready to blow up. Working long hours taking attitudes from people while you perfect your talent, sadly storms don’t let you know in advance when they are coming. You have been speaking it out on every cycle about how positioned you are. The lines are falling down to you in pleasant places, this is your inheritance you have been waiting for and it is beautiful to you because you can see it. So, when the outbreak comes before the blessing that you were expecting what do you do? Do you react to the circumstance that came up which is your storm? Sometimes it is very hard not to react to the circumstance. You hope that you have learned on the last past cycles not to have attitudes when things don’t go your way. But don’t beat yourself up. The best of us have gone cycle after cycle after cycle… trying to get it right.Know that God got you on each cycle and the blessing is still waiting for you when you mature. When you get to the cycle when nothing matters as much anymore and you are tired of trying to please everybody because you have learned that people do change. God will take those people off your cycle that wasn’t meant to be on your path anyway so that He can deal with you and you alone so you can hear Him. He always speaks to us on every cycle. Telling us softly about our attitude, perception, greed, God’s perfect timing, being grounded, and our blind spot saying, “It’s not me, but everybody else that needs to change”; that is always your blind spot. If you are a follower of Christ at any level or whether you profess your relationship with Him or not He knows you are His. It does not matter if you are ones that talkor listens to our LordHe speaks to us without our permission. If you are going through the same cycle over and over againand not coming to your breakthrough you are not listening.God is talking to you all the time in your cycles, but are you too busy trying to obtain the blessing instead of listening for His voice. When you are ready for your breakthrough there will be little effort on your part because it was all in the preparation. The result from God seems to come suddenly. It’s the preparation that takes time. So, watch what you are doing and listen carefully to what you are saying because nothing is wasted and your words do not go out void. It will all come back around until we get it right. Thank God we will get there by his Grace. That’s what he promised. The Good News is everything does work together for our good.

Family Seeks Exoneration for Executed Black Maid CUTHBERT, Ga. — Lena Baker claimed that she was being held against her will by a drunken white man and acted in self-defense when she wrested his gun away and shot him. For a black maid in the segregated South in 1944, her story was a tough sell to a jury of 12 white men. And rumors that she was romantically involved with victim E. B. Knight did not help. Her murder trial lasted just a day, without one witness called by her court-appointed lawyer. She was convicted and sentenced to death. Now relatives of the only woman executed in Georgia’s electric chair are returning to Cuthbert to honor Baker and try to clear her name with the state Board of Pardons and Parole. “The family doesn’t need to go down in history with a bad name,” said Roosevelt Curry, 59, the grandson of Baker’s brother. Since 1943, the board has granted only two pardons for people who have proved their innocence. One was also granted posthumously for Leo Frank, who was lynched in 1915 while appealing a murder conviction. Board spokeswoman Heather Hedrick said last week that the agency has yet to receive a pardon application from Baker’s family. Requests usually are filed by living people convicted of less serious crimeswho want to restore such rights as voting and owning a gun. “I can understand why that would be important for her family to get a pardon for her,” Hedrick said. “But the point is to restore political and civil rights and, in this case, I don’t know if that would be appropriate.” Prosecution witnesses at her trial said that Knight and Baker went on trips together and that he often went to her house and demanded that she go with him.

Lena Baker After she was sentenced, her attorney filed an appeal, but it was dropped after he withdrew from the case. She was executed in March 1945. John Cole Vodika, director of the Prison and Jail Project, an inmate advocacy program, said the family has a strong case for getting her exonerated. “She should never have been tried for murder,” he said. “It was an obvious injustice. That’s what the system did with African Americans who dared resist white men’s authority. “She was a victim of racism, white man’s domination over African American women,” he said. “In an effort to cover up what really happened, the county moved to treat it as capital murder. It sure appears they wanted to get rid of her quickly and to limit or eliminate anything happening that would further embarrass the family of the deceased.” She was buried in Cuthbert in a grave that went unmarked for five decades, until the congregation of Mount Vernon Baptist Church raised $250 for a concrete slab and marker. The family is planning a memorial service May 11, Mother’s Day, at Mount Vernon, where Baker sang in the choir. Her grave is behind the church. They will place an empty casket in the church, symbolizing the funeral “our family and friends were cheated of,” Curry said . A family friend took Baker’s three children away from Cuthbert after the shooting. Other relatives moved to Florida, New Jersey and other Georgia towns, he said. “Back then, people were scared,” Curry said. Her last living child, Nelsie, 66, lives in Florida, but Curry refused to be more specific. “Nobody is to go there and mess with her because she is not well,” he said. “She’s already been hurt enough. Nelsie doesn’t even know where her mother is buried, or where her grandfather or uncle are buried.” Baker, who had a sixth-grade education, proclaimed her innocence to the very end. “What I done, I did in self-defense,” she said in her final statement. “I have nothing against anyone.... I am ready to meet my God.”

8 WAYS MEDITATION CAN IMPROVE YOUR LIFE By Kristine Crane for US News Shrimati Bhanu Narasimhan, a petite Indian woman wrapped in a bright fuchsia sari, has a soft voice but a big presence. She holds the rapt attention of some 100 people who have come to learn how to meditate at the Art of Living Center in the District of Columbia. The type of meditation she teaches is called Sahaj, Sanskrit for effortless. It’s a mantra-based meditation she advises doing twice a day for 20 minutes — before eating. “Mental hygiene,” Narasimhan calls it. Sahaj is just one type of meditation. Others are based on compassion, mindfulness, yoga and transcendentalism, among others. While their aims are different, they share common benefits. Here are eight of those. Meditation reduces stress. “Meditation is mind without agitation,” Narasimhan says. Stress creates agitation and is something most of us deal with on some level. And it’s increasing, given the rising use of anti-anxiety medications, notes Stanford University researcher Emma Seppälä. Meditation allows people to take charge of their own nervous system and emotions. “Studies have shown improved ability to [permanently] regulate emotions in the brain,” adds Seppälä, who is also the associate director of the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education at Stanford. “It’s very empowering.” It improves concentration. “I’m more centered and focused in everything I do. I don’t find myself getting as distracted anymore,” says Sara Robinson of Indianapolis, who did the Sahaj course last February. The ER nurse and sky-diving instructor adds that multitasking is easier. At least one study has shown an improved ability to multitask, Seppälä says. “Meditation has been linked to a number of things that lead to increased ability to focus, memory … We’ve seen this at the level of the brain.” Greater concentration is related to the increased energy meditation provides. “It connects you with your real source of energy,” Narasimhan says. It encourages a healthy lifestyle. “I tend to want more things that are better for me,” Robinson says, adding that she eats more fresh foods and has cut out nearly all alcohol. She also stopped smoking. Susan Braden, who lives in Takoma Park, Maryland, and also did the Sahaj course, says the practice has made her apply the Hippocratic oath — “First, do no harm” — to herself. “You just want to put good things in your body,” she says. That means “closest to what’s natural. So if it doesn’t look like a tomato, I wouldn’t eat it.” Braden also gave up coffee, replacing it with tea. The practice increases self-awareness. Before Zaccai Free, a District of Columbia resident, began meditating in college two decades ago, he had a very short fuse – to the point, he says, of wanting to commit acts of violence. Meditation taught him to recognize his own anger and become more detached from it. It cleared his mind and calmed him down, he says. Mostly, “it made me more comfortable in my own skin,” adds Free, who does many types of meditation, including Sahaj, Agnihotra, laughter and walking meditations. “When you take more time to dive inside yourself, you are more comfortable showing who you are.”

It increases happiness. “Meditation puts you on the fast track to being happy,” says Ronnie Newman, director of research and health promotion for the Art of Living Foundation, the umbrella organization for the Sahaj meditation course. Studies have shown that brain signaling increases in the left side of the prefrontal cortex, which is responsible for positive emotions, while activity decreases in the right side, responsible for negative emotions, Newman says. The other benefits of meditation, including increased self-awareness and acceptance, also contribute to improved Meditation increases acceptance. Braden was a high-profile senior policy advisor in the State Department, constantly on the go to trips around the world, until seven years ago, when she was struck by multiple sclerosis. She turned to meditation, and her world view flipped. “I have a disease which really brings you back to yourself,” Braden says. “Meditation helps me accept that. You explore your inner self and realize that’s just as big as traveling to Burma.” For Braden, learning to meditate has been harder than learning Arabic. “It’s a lifetime job. But it changes how you feel life, and it’s made it more enjoyable for me,” she says. It slows aging. Studies show that meditation changes brain physiology to slow aging. “Cognition seems to be preserved in meditators,” says Sara Lazar, a researcher at Harvard University. Lazar adds that meditators also have more gray matter – literally, more brain cells. Lazar’s colleague, Elizabeth Hoge, did a study that showed that meditators also have longer telomeres, the caps on chromosomes indicative of biological age (rather than chronological). That meditation lengthens life “may be a bit of a stretch,” Hoge says. “But there is something about meditation that is associated with longer telomeres … [perhaps that] it reduces stress and its effects on the body.” The practice benefits cardiovascular and immune health. Meditation induces relaxation, which increases the compound nitric oxide that causes blood vessels to open up and subsequently, blood pressure to drop. One study, published in 2008 in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, showed that 40 of 60 high blood pressure patients who started meditating could stop taking their blood pressure medication. Meditation also improves immunity. “I hardly ever get sick anymore,” Robinson says. “I don’t think I’ve had a cold since I started this.”

“The Corruption Of The Justice System” When you see people set free from prison for a crime they didn’t commit. What comes to your mind? Is the justice system fair or corrupt? Is it about who you know, who you are, is Justice based on your status in life? Can money override Justice? How bias is our Justice system? Is there any sympathy when you are poor, because there’s pity for the rich in the court room. This is a story about a young man named Rob Will. Before I give all the facts about Rob’s innocence, I just want to go over a few cases to prove to you how bias our Justice system really is across America. I’m going to take you back to 1963, when Byron Dela Beckwith walked free for over thirty one years for the murder of Medgar Evers. I won’t get into all the details, however I will recommend you watch the movie, “Ghost of Mississippi.” Ethan Couch killed four people and walked free because he was rich bottom line, Susan Smith kills her children and blame it on a black man and they arrest someone until she admits that she had committed the murder’s. Robert Will is a young man that is on death row for a crime he didn’t commit. When I read Rob’s story it broke my heart because the odds is against him. Just his life explains how bias our Justice system really has no mercy on the poor or a black man in Susan Smith case it’s clear. How do we fix this problem do we get out and vote? Why should money and who you know and who you are make a difference in any case that is tried in the American Judicial System. How can a Judge or DA sleep at night knowing a decision made in his or her Court was bias. Is it because a police officer was killed, did the true killer not get any time because he was the son of a police officer with a high rank. When I seen the name of the District Attorney who handled this case and sentence Mr. Will was enough for me to believe that this young man Robert Will is innocent. Chuck Rosenthal who resigned his position after bias and racial emails were being sent to some of his collogues and some criminal activity was also discovered. (I wonder does he know the dad of murderer in this case) or maybe even the Sheriff Tommy Thompson, yes he was involved also by sending raciest e-mails. Either one of these men credibility should be sufficient to give anybody a life sentence. No DNA proves that Rob Will was the murderer. The Co defendent admitted to the killings, so since his dad is an officer he walks free? Rob explained what happened and since he had a court appointed lawyer that seeks Justice it didn’t matter, my question is how can a bigot like the former District Attorney Chuck Rosenthal sentence anybody. Free Rob Will, Rob is blessed to have found passion in drawing, now a passionate self-taught artist he creates exceptional work, with limited supplies being on death row in Texas. In January 2012 a gallery in Hamburg Germany held Rob’s first ever exhibition to great success. To support Rob Will you can go to www.freerobwill.org Pamela Renee’

ALL EYEZ ON ME

A drama about the life of Tupac Shakur is sprawling but sketchy in a standard biopic way, yet Demetrius Shipp Jr.’s performance nails the hip-hop superstar as the ferocious role-player he was. Sleekly shaven-headed, with a pirate bandana, a gangsta’s dripped-in-death tattoos, and the liquid stare of an Arabian prince, Tupac Shakur was the matinee idol of hip-hop superstars: not the fiercest rapper, not the most virtuosic or visionary, but a figure of “hard” ferocity who elevated street nihilism by fusing it with a certain lovesexy bravura. For a while, he was as much a movie star as he was a rap star (and he would have been a bigger one had his legal troubles not scared off the Hollywood establishment). On some level, Tupac’s life always seemed like a movie playing out in front of you — not just the hair triggers of bloodshed, but his whole contradictory dance of activism and thuggery, commitment and celebrity. “All Eyez on Me,” the messy, hugely flawed, but fascinating biographical drama that has now been made about him, channels those contradictions, even if it doesn’t always know what to do with them. Comprehensive but sketchy, richly atmospheric but often under-dramatized, it is not, in the end, a very good movie (there are a few scenes, like Tupac’s initial meeting with Ted Field of Interscope Records, that are embarrassingly bad). Yet it’s highly worth seeing, because in its volatility and hunger, and the hidden desperation of its violence, it captures something about the space in which Tupac Shakur lived: a place that wanted to be all about pride and power, but was really about flying over the abyss. The film is 2 hours and 20 minutes long, and considering that Tupac was only 25 years old when he was gunned down in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas on Sept. 7, 1996, that should be enough time to tell his story with intimacy and flow. Yet “All Eyez on Me,” directed by the music-video veteran Benny Boom, is an old-school biopic that reminds you why old-school biopics faded: It has that overly sprawling, one-thing-after-another quality that can make you feel like you’re seeing the cinematic version of a Wikipedia entry. That said, Demetrius Shipp Jr., who plays Tupac, carries you through. He looks astonishingly like the rap star, but Shipp also fills out Tupac emotionally, showing us the smiley high-school student who prided himself on his success in the theater — we see him cast as the lead in “Hamlet” — as well as the surly, neglected adolescent who was raised

‘ But his mother said it best: This is really the system’s way of handing him the tools to destroy himself. ’ by his mother, the former Black Panther Afeni Shakur, to take a never-ending stance of defiance. Afeni is played by Danai Gurira (who would have been perfect as Nina Simone), and Gurira makes her a ruthlessly intelligent analyst of the white power structure who is nevertheless consumed by a rage that has no outlet (at one point, she turns to crack). It’s no wonder that Tupac grows up to be a militant without a cause. He can see the injustice around him, and when he’s arrested in Oakland for jaywalking (when was the last time a white person got arrested for jaywalking? Answer: never), the sadism of the police is like a nightstick to the soul. Yet each new way that he chooses to define his manhood — as a rap star; as a fighter with thug-life cred who will walk, lips snarled, into any confrontation; as a stud; as an activist leader in the new era of rap-as-racial-politics — it becomes, for him, a highly self-conscious performance. He turns into a badass outlaw hip-hop demigod who is playing the role of a badass outlaw hip-hop demigod. There’s a facile framing device, with Tupac explaining (and defending) his life in a prison interview that takes place during the nine months he spent at the Clinton Correctional Facility in 1995. The movie than flashes back to his New York childhood, his jarring moves to Baltimore and Oakland, the close friendship he formed in his teens with Jada Pinkett (Kat Graham), his shot at stardom when he was asked to join Digital Underground, his 1992 role as a stone-cold sociopath in “Juice” (a role he acted brilliantly, and that was said by some to have had an influence on his off-screen behavior), and his mesmerizing early solo videos for tracks like “Same Song” (his first lead with Digital Underground) and the scabrous social-protest rap “Brenda’s Got a Baby.” But it’s only after he goes to jail that the movie finds its footing. “All Eyez on Me” presents the incident that resulted in rape charges that were brought against Tupac and members of his entourage (he was convicted of first-degree sexual abuse) in a way that completely exonerates him; the truth may have been murkier. Once he’s in prison, however, his life and career look like they’re in ruins. To save himself, he signs a deal with the devil: Marion “Suge” Knight, the fearsome 350-pound giant-cigar-chomping entrepreneur of Death Row Records, who enjoys a supreme distinction among the rappers and producers he employs and lords it over — he’s the only one among them who isn’t playing at being a gangsta. Dominic L. Santana, who plays Knight, captures the underworld mogul’s self-righteous menace, and the second half of the movie, in which Shakur finds his greatest success, records his greatest song (the momentous “California Love”), and experiences his greatest existential confusion while at Death Row, is the ominous heart of “All Eyez on Me.” It’s not just that he’s surrounded by back-stabbers and glad-handers, as well as musicians like Dr. Dre (Harold House Moore, in an underwritten role) and Snoop Dogg (Jarrett Ellis, who gets the voice but not the snakish cunning). In essence, Tupac is still in prison, trapped not just in a three-album contract but in a stance of outlaw brutishness that’s become, in his own mind, “political”: the only stance the white man will allow him. But his mother said it best: This is really the system’s way of handing him the tools to destroy himself. Once his friendship with Biggie Smalls (Jamal Woolard) breaks down, the fabled East Coast–West Coast rap war becomes, in the movie’s view, a violent form of tap-dancing, with Tupac and Biggie deluded into thinking that their taunts and boasts mean something. Who killed Tupac Shakur? “All Eyez on Me” doesn’t say, but it least it spares us the soul-sapping diversion of conspiracy theory. In all likelihood, Tupac was killed in a tit-for-tat piece of gang violence that had nothing to do with the rap wars. What the movie captures is that Tupac’s absorption — through showbiz, then through the empire of Suge Knight — into the role of gangsta sociopath was the insidious illusion that sealed his fate. It was a role he relished playing, and he did it brilliantly; he convinced the toughest audience there was — himself. But the only thing about the role that was entirely real was his death.

GEORGE

PHELPS

Skytrues has grown to be a household name. From social media to ads to even making special TV appearances, George “Goldenboy” Phelps, has become known for his artistic abilities to design unique frames to fit anyone’s style. George was a child prodigy with an artistic mind of his own. Art was always his first love... his second: Music. His teacher believed in his talent so much that he hosted his very first art exhibit at the tender age of twelve. His teacher said his talent will take him far, but George became more interested in his passion for music. Years later, after touring with a few celebrity musicians, the humble George came up with the idea of Skytrues while sitting in Harris County jail. God spoke to George about bettering his life, the life God has blessed him with. He visualized painting masterpieces on glasses. Once released, George started painting his personal pair of frames to show his creativity. He went to church and got a lot of positive feedback from the frames. One guy even offered to buy them from him. That’s when George sold his first pair of frames. Since that day, three years ago, George has blessed a plethora of major celebrities with his brand including the City of Houston’s Mayor Sylvester Turner, Dennis Rodman, boxing legend Mike Tyson, Congressman Sheila Jackson Lee, Rock& Roll Hall Of Famer & Legend George Clinton, R&B Divas star Angie Stone and Chante Moore, Paul Wall, Lil Flip, and Waka Flocka to name a few. Goldenboy was even contacted by a media mogul and presented with a contract to be a part of a Reality TV Show for Houston’s HipHop Designers. George wanted to tell his story to the youth of the community. He wanted them to know they can accomplish their dreams if they strive for it. George decided to contribute to the growth of our youth by mentoring the youth at the 5th Ward Youth Academy and The Boys and Girls Club to Career Day at Claudin Middle School, he has done it all. Goldenboy has even created illustrations for a children’s book entitled “Little Boys and Their Superheroes”. @NyRieux I was raised by my parents who lived in a small country town. My grandparents made sure each day was filled with responsibilities and the Word of God. This instilled in me discipline and structure. Then I decided to get into sports, gymnastics being my passion. I am a sibling to 3, a mother of 4 and a grandmother which is a blissful blessing. I wear many hats and I’m thankful everyday for them all. Each helped in molding & shaping me into he woman I am today. What inspires me? I’m inspired by my mother, being a mother/grandmother, my humbleness, my intelligence, my kind heart but most of all my FAITH. These things collectively created perseverance and drive within me. This is what fuels me everyday to be great. It creates creative juices in my mind in which I make a reality by weighing the pros & cons of it’s future existence in my life’s path. My mother taught me at a young age, “if your mind can think it, then you can create it and make it successful”. So in everything I do, these words once spoken by my mother, now guardian angel inspired me to be great and stay that way. I have a great support system with my family, my Team and someone very special to me, who gave me great advice 3/2015. Everyone is very supportive in every aspect of my life. They see how hard I strive to be successful in everything I do, yet remain very humble.

My family, Team and this special person stand by my decisions and of course me. However if it’s something they don’t agree with they will speak on it enabling me to reconsider that specific thing or situation. I love this part of my life, their honesty in the kindest way places me back on track at times when I sway off it. In being a explicit model, online exhibitionist, writer, designer, etc most expect a person to be a certain way. They take what they see visually to be who a person is, which is social media’s way at times of condemning individuals as they build you into stardom. I’m not my job choice, I am a African American woman who was given the gift of intelligence to use in the way I see fit whatever that may be. I chose entertainment and fashion because it’s my passion. I didn’t chose ridicule or being judge because of societies constant need for attention. So in conclusion being Nita Laurrieux everyday is hard and a true blessing. NyRieux my entertainment life on the other hand is very challenging in so many aspects. However, I wouldn’t trade either for anything in the world. I experience so many emotions that make me strong, and my FAITH stays intact during it all. It’s so apparent Inspirations push and encourage me to keep going until the wheels fall off. As everyone knows, I’m not one to back down from a good fight.

“LaGhe’s passion for what she does began with her mother eclectic love of music”

LAGHE

MUSIC

Omaha Nebraska’s brown eyed beauty, LaGhe, has been a positive self focused

force behind her own attention grippingly confident yet uniquely classic type of HipHop and R&B style. Cultivating and air of sheer interest and enthusiasm, LaGhe’s straight talk topics and sweet harmonic melodies have been helping to bust the padlock off many opportunities left and right. LaGhe’s focal point with her music and persona is to depict the overall “female strength” knowledgably, sensibly, and maturely. Taking her bold Midwest breezy style with her wherever she goes, this siren has been known to each and every professional that she has met to have something undeniably elongating with her career. LaGhe’s flowing melodies and slick approach to her tracks make her uniquely vivid amongst the sea of clones today. It is time and refinement that is aiding LaGhe in her journey towards reaching full potential in becoming a respected female entity amongst her peers. Knowing that being a respected humble figure whose talent and hustle initially speaks for itself can push open many envelops, so her main goal for 2017 is to prove that sponsorship, branding, and a distribution deal are things not unfathomable to obtain. This year has opened to LaGhe with the opportunity to open for the legendary Easy E’s youngest son, E3, in January in Houston, TX and then within a series of other shows in other states she had the privilege to open for his oldest son Lil Easy in Lincoln, NE in February. Since then LaGhe has been in and out of many shows in many states and topped a few online charts such as “Number One Music” site for areas such as Farrell, PA. As she is in earshot of more and more states across the US LaGhe has decided to take her time with the release of her new album “Facelift”, to be released late August. To help hype a healthy buzz about the up and coming album LaGhe will be producing men’s and women’s Tee’s and accessories along with releasing singles from the later album ”Facelift UNWRAPPED” which will host a plethoria of versatile lyricists, tantalizing vocals, and videos for the visual journey. The overall plan is to seduce the masses with a facelift that they can appreciate. LaGhe’s passion for what she does began with her mother eclectic love of music and her own love for expression through words. As time passed she became more fluid with with her writing and it seemed only natural that both loves be poured into a fusion that would be flooded with value over time. Although LaGhe lacked confidence in the past to center stage some great opportunities, LaGhe was always blessed with a gift that moved people to supply support and constructive critism just to see her climb and succeed. The pairing in 2007 with management group Lady Beast Management and in 2016 with Mindz Eye Entertainments star artist “Wizdum”, has strategically and professionally help LaGhe to boost her confidence, strengthen her vocals, and build a sturdy fan base. Over time LaGhe has been taken under the wing of a few different people and has been walked and sometimes pushed her to reach the precipice of her natural talent. LaGhe has always been the type of woman who positive people gravitate towards and that fact is what initially keeps the pitbulls at bay and great positions open to her. LaGhe has been allowing time for experience to mold her professional plans for the future. With the oncoming of modeling gigs (like being the face of the independently owned clothing store “Judge Not” ) and paid acting jobs (like a womans hotel safety video and an up and coming roll in an independent film with media company “Tuesday After Hours Media”), LaGhe never wants to be known for holding one skill alone so she is pushing her limits to be known for many forms of art right from the start. Even though she is very high on creativity and freedom, LaGhe believes that structure through humblness gives you building blocks that can have a profound effects on you, the people around you, and your career. For those reasons LaGhe has been known to give back to a few of her favorite charities such as “Love Strength Hope” and “Beat Makin Lab” giving 50% of her downloaded proceeds from songs such as “Watch Me” and “What To Do With It”. Always having a holistic and wholesome approach to life in general, it was never a surprise that one of her first professional philanthropic causes would come attached 50% of her profits from her first two most listener loved songs. With all of her trials and tribulations professionally and personally, LaGhe’s outlook towards the uncertain future has been and always will be on an optimistic yet still so realistic level. Right now in life is when LaGhe feels it is the right time to release the type of music that her new album “Facelift” has to offer and to push for what she knows is attainable. Coming in 2nd place at the Coast2Coast Live Event in Chicago last year has got LaGhe more than ready to prove her status, talent, and versatility with a new Coast2Coast event in her own hometown on March 20th 2017. LaGhe’s plan is to keep perfecting her craft, mesmerizing the masses, and spreading her unique sound from one coast to the other.

LONDON SAVOY

Liver & Gallbladder Cleanse By Namaste Shelz Promote weight loss naturally and Improve outer beauty with liver/Gallbladder Master flush : As a scholar with a very high interest in natural health and of course natural beauty without all the harmful side effects I feel this is some very informative knowledge the world should know about to heal yourself from a wide range of illnesses and at the same time to help look and feel as radiant as you should . With the liver controlling over 400 functions in the body Including but not limited to full body detox, synthesis of proteins, Hormonal control, & production, as well as nutrient & energy synthesis. Lifestyle habits like overeating, fried foods, birth control pills, pharmaceutical drug use , dehydration etc. causes oftentimes 100’s of stones which are 20% MINERAL BASED, MADE OF CALCIUM SALTS AND BILE PIGMENTS,THERE ARE ALSO NON-CALCIFIED STONES WHICH ARE OFTEN CHOLESTTEROL-BASED, CLUMPS OF FAT, HARDENED BILE OR PIGMENTS OF BILIRUNIN.. That literally are stored in liver and gallbladder eventually causing multiple health issues like excessive hormonal weight gain or wasting and obesity, back or shoulder pain, pms, hormonal imbalances , depression , brain disorders, heart disease, high cholesterol, you name it : basically it causes an imbalance in the bodies homeostasis which can ultimately be detrimental to our overall health in the long run. So we talked a bit about some of the side effects from having these stones which can sometimes be in the hundreds often resulting in an overload of stones and expansion in the gallbladder often resulting in the surgical removal of the gallbladder which is what we would like to avoid instead doing an all natural ritual master flush every 4-6 weeks until no stones are left . So what are some of the benefits of a liver/gallbladder flush? Well Number 1. It sets the precondition for the body to heal itself by allowing the liver to more easily filter out more toxins and for the bile ducts to absorb more nutrients the body needs. 2. Significant reduction in pain I.e (fibromyalgia, Back pain, pms symptoms etc) 3. Improves outer beauty, New hair growth , rapid nail growth ( for this being my third flush this year I seriously lost count on how often I have been complimented about looking much younger and I even feel 5 years younger, My skin is glowing) 4. Helps to improve mental health and think more clearly (which I can vouch for) 5.Improves digestion of fatty foods which results in higher metabolism 6. Increases energy which also will assist in weight loss and positive mental health . How do I prepare and follow through with a successful flush? Although it does take some thorough preparation . It takes 6 days , I either drink 1 liter of apple juice for six days or 1 liter of malic acid for six days which is the main ingredient in apples. Then on the 6th day I fast . I then take 4 tablespoons of FOODGRADE Epsom salt in 710 ml (3 cups) of water divided into 4 equal portions store them in the fridge. You’ll also need 120 ml (4oz) olive oil and either 120 ml of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice or a couple lemons, I prefer the grapefruit but either will do.

Day 1 -6: 6tspns malic acid in 1 liter water/ Or 1 liter apple juice / mor 4 oz of apple cider vinegar

for 6 days

Day 6: Eat a light lunch before 1:30pm (this is important)  6pm: Drink first portion of Epsom salt drink ( I suggest plugging your nose while drinking  8pm: Drink second portion of Epsom salt drink  9:30pm water enema if no bowel movement  9:45pm: Mix ¾ of grapefruit juice / ½ glass olive oil ( I use a glass jar with a lid to shake) 10pm: Drink Grapefruit juice mixed with olive oil (do not sit down) Lie down immediately after drinking Next morning day 7:  6:30am: drink third portion of Epsom salt drink  8:30am: Drink last portion of Epsom salt drink  10:30am: Drink freshly pressed juice or eat very light It is important to remember that your body just underwent surgery without the harmful side effects and you should plan to take it easy for the whole day since you wont feel like doing much of anything . By the next day you will feel much better Now Im off to start my 4th cleanse tomorrow. Peace, Love and good health to all.

Artist: Wizdum Name: Marlon Douglas Taylor D.O.B.:06/08/1079 Hometown: Cumberland, Md. Years in Music: 17 Years The son of a mother who’s heart was filled with song, Wizdum, Marlon Douglas Taylor was born with music in his veins. Ever eager to expand his eclectic appetite for sounds, since a youth he has always appreciated a vast spectrum of artists and the music that they make. Prior to becoming involved with the industry himself in 1999, this former poet was raised on a variety of musical influences from Sam Cooke to Madonna, from New Edition to Elton John, from Natalie Cole to Jay-Z, even going as far back as Frank Sinatra to current hip-hop artists such as Jadakiss and Eminem. Raised by his step-grandfather after the tragic loss of both his mother and grandmother, Wizdum always proved to be a seeker of knowledge and a lover of music. It wasn’t until about the age of 19, after moving to the Midwest (Council Bluffs, Ia.) that a desire was formed to create music himself. Prophacy (Joe Phoenix) a great friend and local hip-hop artist one day gave the suggestion of turning his poetry into raps by reciting his words over popular instrumentals. From that day forth who could’ve known what would result. From performing shows at the YMCA to gracing the stages of theatres and shaking hands with industry heavy weights, music has been his career, more than a hobby since day one. Whether it be his start with Prophacy and other members of the clique Young-N-Bumpin or the 10 years spent in Maryland as a part of the group 3 Man Weave (Smash Hit Records, Dirren Bell, Radeif Wigfall, Lawrence Hester) Wizdum has given 300% to the development of his style, his writing ability, stage presence, promotional skills and all around presentation of himself as an artist. With 12 videos, 2 Albums with 1 on the way, 1 mixtape with 1 on the way, and a slew of singles sold nationwide he has reached listeners that number in the tens of thousands. Blessed with opportunities to open for such famous acts as Twista, Stevie Stone, Jadakiss, and more as well as numerous chances to meet with and perform for industry execs (Bad Boy Records, BMI Publishing, AAMG/Universal, Def Jam Recordings), he is still striving to perfect his craft and share it with any and all who will listen.

“The son of a mother who’s heart was filled with song, Wizdum“

Currently working on a 2 disc, 28 track album entitled “Long Time Coming” Wizdum has been putting in overtime to show that even 16 years later he is as relevant as ever. As a member of Pain Management Inc. (A locally organized team of independent artists and management working together to further the goal of being heard worldwide) and Co-Owner of promotional company Myndz Eye Entertainment he stays busy booking venues for himself, as well as nationally known artists. At 37 his grind, hustle, determination, motivation and sense of being is just as strong now as at 19. Ever on the go, he keeps taking advantage of every blessing set before him. Upcoming events include, Omaha, Ne., Killeen, Tx., Chicago, Il. and even a seat in Hollywood, at The Hollywood Music and Media Awards, as a guest nominee for his worldwide single “State of Attraction” Ft. Brandi Lee. With a positive attitude and forever willingness to learn Wizdum most definitely has what it takes to be a powerful musical influence not only locally or even nationally, but around the globe. Ever on the move, he just recently finished a mini 7 state US tour spanning over 10,000 miles. Beginning in Cleveland, Ohio, then heading to McAllen, Tx followed up by Killeen, Tx. Blessed with the opportunity to perform with his friend LaGhe Music, The two of them ended their 4,000 mile trek by taking 2nd place in Chicago, Il. In a contest held by Coast to Coast Mixtapes. Next stop for him was Omaha, Ne. with follow up performances in Cheyenne, Wy and Detroit, MI. Last but far from least, the tour ended in a tuxedo on Hollywood Blvd. as Wizdum was an honored guest attendee to the Hollywood Music in Media Awards. 2017 holds even more promise after the May 1, 2016 release of 29 tracks entitled “Long Time Coming” Wizdum is once again back in the laboratory currently working on 5 projects covering 70 brand new songs to be released in the winter and spring of the New Year. 4 Mixtapes and a full length album, as well as a five city tour, Opening up for World famous Hip-Hop Artists T.I.P. and Gucci Mane, a trip to New York to Make a music video With world Famous Rapper Jadakiss for his song Featuring Jada called “Facts”, and a trip across the World to Africa for his first ever International collaboration are merely some of the things we can expect from this ever focused go getter.
