1.1.1 Project brief

What is a Business Incubator for Women ?

Anintegrated environment, providingmanybusiness development services forwomen and girls and meeting their needs, by incubating them in appropriate environment , in order to grow , succeed and stabilize their projects in another meaning ; starting with the idea and ending with establishing small businesses and launching them commercially . On the other hand, it provides consultancy in management, entrepreneurship and financial support services . It also helps them market their products and how to monetize them . And overcoming the difficulties that theymight face during the establishment of their start-up companies or small projects , such as ;

 Low skills of women and girls in professional and craft work . Also lack of methods to promote their products

 They suffer from remote workplaces .

 Weakness in transportation for training institutions .

 Most small projects end after a period of time from their start , due to the lack of economic feasibility studies for their projects and their lack of basic skills in managing and sustaining those projects .

 Difficulty of paying money to obtain a training program by the existing institutions

 Lack of legal awareness of labor laws , legislation and what related to them , (work and workers rights).

 The high cost of delivering products to customers .

1.1.2 The needs for this project (Why this project and why this site ) .

Why this project?

Because of the widespread lack of success of home projects among women around us, there are many women who bear their family expenses or even girls who need to spend money on themselves . Although these women and girls are talented and skilled in various businesses, they lack external support, the confidence of state institutions, and adequate funding means, and they face difficulty in managing their project financially and marketing .

The percentage of unemployed women who hold a bachelor's degree reached 79.2 % , but it didn't exceed 26% among males , which shows the extent of unemployment among Jordanian women . The domestic work sector is very large in Jordan , 55% of working women are involved in the informal sector .(Al-Mamlakah 2023)

- The number of females in Irbid is 480,943.

- The percentage of females without children is approximately: 333,873

- The unemployment rate for females in Irbid is 34%. (The unemployment rate is high among university degree holders, reaching 78.9% for females in all of Jordan).

Why this Site :

Location: Jordan - Irbid - Al-Ramtha - Irbid development area .

The site is located in the " Irbid development area "in Al-Ramtha disrict , which will be a high business development area . So the idea is familiar with the region .And The location is close to Shmal Start and Center of Excellence in JUST University which serve the same idea in Entrepreneurship . So we can be the connection point for all services .On other hand it Close to JUST University, where the Female are. (IDA ,Dar al omran 2023)
