2 LITERATURE REVIEW

2.1 The most important percentages in Irbid Governorate

Irbid Governorate, located in the north of Jordan, includes (9) provinces and (18) municipalities. Its population is 1,957,000, (the proportion of the population in Irbid relative to the Kingdom: 18.57%). (Al-Mamlakah 2023)

 The governorate suffers from the lack of such incubators in it, with the presence of needy females who are able to work at the same time. Where the unemployment rate in the governorate: (males :13.5% and females: 34%).(Al-Mamlakah 2023)

- Such incubators; Women's Business Development Incubator and Makani Project - Irbid Center for Community Services. This indicates the importance of their presence in the province.

 The poverty rate is high in the governorate (15%) compared to (14.4%) in the Kingdom. (Al-Mamlakah 2023)

 There is a cultural mix (rural and urban), as it is a link for more than one brigade to gather the largest possible number of women. (4) (Al-Mamlakah 2023)

 There are six vocational training centers that have contributed to providing qualified and manpower in various fields, but there is a problem in them, namely; Not being compatible with the requirements of the local market. (Al-Mamlakah 2023)
