WEEK TEN Written Project Analysis What Didn’t
What Works Throughout the course of blogging and posting on Facebook and Instagram I have used a variety of curated and personal content. I didn’t get any comments on any platforms, however majority of my friends and family personally told me they enjoyed it. At the start I decided to use the paid feature on Facebook to see if a broader audience would see my posts and the reactions. All of the paid conent reached a vast amount of people including up to 1,000 on a few posts. More people viewed Kebdaily.com and liked the content posted. I was getting views from people in America, New Zealand, Canada and throughout Europe. For the first two weeks I posted daily on both Instragram and Facebook, I then posted every few days. I found that I got a lot more interaction by posting daily, however since stopping the “Boost” on Facebook the posts didn’t reach as many people. Although Buffer took a fair amount of time to schedule posts, I feel that in the end it was so helpful not having to post at certain times, just sitting back and letting it take care of it’s self.
After spending a lot of time creating content to post not many people were viewing it. I thought by using the paid feature it would get more likes to my Facebook page, however the only people that liked it were friends and family and very few people were liking the photos and updates posted. Next time I would try the paid feature a few weeks after launching, I feel like that may have helped rather than starting it with the paid feature. I thought Instagram would start to progress with more followers and likes but for some reason it didn’t. I used hastags relating to the content but it obviously didn’t work. I found that by following more and more people my followers would slowly go up. Not many people would click on my facebook link to my website, I would post on my personal account and more people would view it. Next time I will deffinatly follow a lot more people at the start and share on my personal more often to gain more of an audience. Statistics Facebook: 90 likes Instagram: 83 followers Mailing List: 10 signups
WEEK TEN Written Project Analysis Google Results At the start there were no results on Kebdaily, however after about a week I started to make the first page, a few weeks went by and I became the top result, Kebdaily holds the top 8 results, as well as one of the images from the blog being the top result.
