EL CIELO

A unique and extraordinary experience in the Valle de Guadalupe

A GARDEN OF HAPPINESS I am well-being Breast reconstruction, closing cycles

ÍNDEX EDITORIAL LETTER It seems that we all have our own visions of heaven. So, we decided to share Karisma’s view of it… We plotted our course due West, from the seven shades of blue of the Caribbean Sea to the hills, to the mountains of Mexico, where climate, people and landscape steal the show: a vineyard, a warehouse, a restaurant, and a Boutique Hotel in the Valle de Guadalupe. El Cielo Winery & Resort is one more of our veritable pieces of paradise where the goal is to pamper our guests with the highest of standards, standards considered impossible were it not for the efforts, dedication and primarily the passion our Karisma family shows daily. The way we carry out our work daily, impels us to continue to be a world leader in our field and continue to harvest new awards and industry acknowledgements. For example, at the Crystal International Awards we received the Continental Spa Winner Award and Generations Riviera Maya won the National Spa Winner Award. The National Pool Winner Award was given to Azul Beach Resort Negril, while, among other prizes, the National Spa Winner Award was also given to NickelodeonTM Resort Punta Cana. Our properties were a highlight on continental, national and zone levels! We are so proud! Our property El Dorado Seaside Suites Riviera Maya / El Dorado Sensimar Riviera Maya / Hidden Beach, received many awards from TripAdvisor, Booking, RCI and AAA. Congratulations, friends! As if that weren’t enough, for the third year in a row we earned the “Socially Responsible Company” (ESR) badge, plus we entered the ranks of the “Best Companies to Work for in Mexico” in the over-5,000 employee category. Our commitment to the environment and to the quality of life of our employees and our community is really paying off! As we approach the middle of 2019, we have ramped up more momentum than with which we started the year. In order to continue obtaining these excellent results and meet the objectives we have set, we must continue staying the course, not lowering our guard, and carry on with the passion that characterizes us.

KARISMA HOTELS ADRIATIC

Ulcinj

Reliving the legend of the most beautiful city on the South Adriatic Sea The incredible mix of Mediterranean, East/West and 25 Centuries of history that are found in Ulcinj invite you to live a unique experience. Formerly called Colchinium, today Ulcinj is the first large city on the Adriatic coast you come to after passing through the Strait of Otranto. It has become a large and fertile center that extends to Lake Skadar and Mount Rumija, a wonderful area where the breeze of the mountains and the majestic winds whisper legends of their tumultuous past. The old town with picturesque, narrow and winding medieval streets, densely populated stone houses and visible evidence of the Renaissance and Baroque periods, as well as a series of buildings from the Ottoman period, incite one to begin an adventure and exploration. When it comes to the natural beauty of this region, it is not enough to say that God was truly generous in creating a colorful and fragrant mosaic that includes the navy blue sea, the emerald green river Bojana, the Shas lake, the island of Ada, the hundreds of years-old olive trees, pine forests and healing springs. Ulcinj has an ideal climate, so it can be compared to the famous resorts in the Mediterranean, but, what is particularly characteristic of Ulcinj, is the fact that this city has 218 days of sunshine per year.

KARISMA HOTELS ADRIATIC

The beautiful healing, sandy beaches are characteristic of Ulcinj, the longest of which is about 12 kilometers (7.3 miles). This magnificent beach, with its velvety sand coast, extends in a gentle curve from the bay of Port Milena to the mouth of the Bojana River, and is four kilometers (2.4 miles) from city center. When we think of an exotic, fairytale holiday, we often imagine distant places, while, in fact, some of the most beautiful beaches lie right here at our destination in Montenegro, meaning that Ulcinj has been mistakenly left off the tourist map for years. Grupo Karisma recognized the potential of this Montenegrin pearl and is returning welldeserved splendor to this destination with the Holiday Villages and The Long Beach Hotel Montenegro, exclusive resorts that stand out for their ample offerings and distinctive service, with plenty of amenities for kids and adults.

Do you hear the sound of the waves? It’s summer calling, inviting you to have a good time in Ulcinj this year!

WE ARE REFORESTING Nickelodeon™ Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana & TUI Sensatori Resort Punta Cana

THE WORLD

As part of the commitment that Nickelodeon™ Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana has with the planet - a group of hotel collaborators, led by the Sustainability Coordinator, Olga Bernard, participated in two reforestation activities. The first was held in conjunction with World Wetlands Day, and helped to rescue a mangrove area near the hotel, thus contributing to the conservation of the destination’s ecosystems. The second reforestation activity was carried out within the framework of World Forest Day and consisted of planting fruit trees in the hotel’s sports area, where there are extensive gardens, but few trees. With these actions, Nickelodeon™ Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana contributes to the fulfillment of three of the Sustainable Development Goals: Zero Hunger, Climate Action and Life on Land.

Planet Hour On March 30, Earth Hour was celebrated worldwide. At Nickelodeon™ Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, we did not miss this important date and carried out various activities to commemorate it. We had the lighting of candles, music, painting for children and then we organized the drink of the day.

It’s Puerto Morelos National Arrecifes Marine Park’s birthday! Last February, the Arrecifes Marine Park of Puerto Morelos was 21 years old since it attained Park status. This Protected Natural Area is part of the reef barrier called “Great Mayan Reef” and belongs to the “Mesoamerican Reef System”, considered the second largest barrier reef in the world. To celebrate, the management of the Marine Park organized a glorious event for the population of Puerto Morelos, in which more than 1,200 people participated. Our hotels Azul Beach Resort Riviera Maya, by Karisma and Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun, by Karisma handed out Gift certificates as prizes for the activities that were organized. This is an example of how we can contribute to the hard work of park rangers and staff dedicated to the care of our protected areas.

Teaching to Teach – In collaboration with the Rainforest Alliance Rainforest Alliance is an organization with which we have worked for several years for the certification of our Greenhouse in El Dorado Royale Riviera Maya, a Spa Resort by Karisma. In addition to the certification processes, the Rainforest Alliance also performs other types of projects. Currently comprehensive training in sustainability is being imparted to teachers of public elementary and high schools. The participating teachers receive more than 250 hours of training in a period of several months, completely free of charge. Last February, a group of them visited the El Dorado Royale Riviera Maya Conservatory, a Spa Resort by Karisma to learn about responsible production and consumption as a private initiative. More than 40 teachers were given a lecture on how the greenhouse works, how much is produced, what it means to be certified by the Rainforest Alliance, and especially, how this action has a positive economic impact for the region and for our company. At the end of the tour, they left very happy and eager to make their own small greenhouses with their students in their schools.

SPA

I AM WELL-BEING “Fitness”, “healthy”, “wellness” ... these and many more terms we hear so often that they can end up losing the meaning to us. We may even wonder why people insist that it is so important that we lead a healthy life. And as we get entangled in our daily lives, we consume mounds of information in a hurry, in small, digestible and shallow bites.

When we talk about Wellness or Wellbeing, it is in a wholesome sense, because it implies caring for the lifestyle we lead and what that means to us. For some it seems that this is an almost impossible task or that we require superpowers to be able to carry out what this health movement - that has been resonating since the 50s - implies. It’s very important for everyone to understand the Wellness concept, however, as it is vital to combat one of the most common diseases of our times: depression. And so it is, that this leads us to have related problems such as insomnia, stress, poor nutrition, inactivity, obesity and heart disease. Although all these problems are studied by the medicine field, what we propose to you with Wellness, is to solve these plagues with prevention, or with integral changes through a series of inspiring activities where, together, we can all find happiness.

The main idea is to seek physical, mental and spiritual health in order to find happiness from within. That is, we must balance our lives and take care to create synergies in order to live a fuller life. This means that we must take care of our body (fitness) in terms of exercise and nutrition, but it also involves taking care of our mind (meditation, rest, breathing, mastery over emotions) as well as our spirit (transcendence, peace, motivation). To achieve this, it is important that we buy out the time for each of these objectives and continuously promote healthy habits in our daily lives. Thanks to the fact that we are increasingly aware of the importance of Wellness, June 8 it was dedicated as “World Wellness Day”. So, start achieving balance and equilibrium with these daily deeds that act for your benefit: sleep 8 hours, make 5 healthy meals a day, exercise at least 30 minutes and take on 30 minutes in an activity in contact with nature ... you will see that you will start to feel significant changes in your life.

At Karisma, ask about the activities, programs and exclusive prices for our employees. Let’s celebrate life together through the concept of “I am Wellness” experiences: Relaxation, Restoration, Recharge or Rejuvenation. These sessions include a restorative massage and a facial treatment, specifically designed to provide benefits for the body such as moisturizing the skin and leaving it radiant in one session, not to mention the sensations of peace, quiet, harmony, relaxation and tranquility.

KARISMA PEOPLE ARTICLE

A GARDEN OF HAPPINESS

Alexander Pope, an English poet, said that “nature is like an art unknown to man”. However, there are some people that, over time, come to unravel the intricate paths leading to the art of living with a piece of land. Don Bruno Pech already knew some secrets before going to work - almost 24 years ago - in the nursery garden at El Dorado Seaside Suites Riviera Maya, a Spa Resort by Karisma. Planting and harvesting were already part of his life, because in Yucatán, where he is from, it is an economic need as well as a family activity. There, he learned, for example, that nothing should be sown when there

is a full moon but preferrably when there is a crescent moon; this is the best time to do it. Gardening is a noble occupation whose whole purpose is cultivating plants and flowers and trees whether inside or outside. But what is “cultivating”? According to the Royal Spanish Academy, to cultivate is “To give the land and the plants the necessary work to bring them to fruition. To put in the necessary efforts to maintain and grasp knowledge of it, or the treatment and friendship with it”. This is the interesting thing, because for a garden to be truly splendid, we must understand both phrases as one.

FERTILIZE When you want to fertilize a part of your lawn, make sure it is wet evenly. Don’t leave dry patches before spraying the fertilizer because, if you do, you will get spots of yellow dry grass.

Take advantage of the rain to fertilize later.

KARISMA PEOPLE ARTICLE

GREAT BENEFITS FROM THE SIMPLICITY OF A PLANT

Gardening, at any level, leaves you much more than you might expect: ·· It gives you time to reflect ·· It takes away stress. ·· It fosters positivity. It’s not only technique and knowledge that maintains a garden, it is the relationship that develops between the plants and the person. For example, Arturo Rodríguez - a native gardener from Veracruz and who has been working at Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun for two years, was a delivery truck driver, when fate made him part of the Karisma family. Out of curiosity he came to the gardening area and fell in love with the space he saw. The brightness in his eyes when talking about his work confirms what he says: “I love my job, I am very proud of my garden and I treat it as if it were my home ... it is my workplace, but at the same time, it is a space where I can think, reflect and relax.”

The lobby of Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun is known for anthuriums that are everywhere: big, bright, and almost haughty in nature. They almost seem to be handmade with artificial materials, but nature wisely and elegantly enables this trick of the eye to distracted passers-by. These red peculiar flowers are the product of the dedication of Absalón Pérez, gardener as well, who assures us without a doubt, that speaking lovingly to plants really works. The plants respond and bloom. Obed Romero, gardening supervisor of El Dorado Royale and Casitas, agrees and he says that he speaks with much love to the plants that he cares for because, as he continues, “I feel great pride to see how, over the years, they have grown large and full of life”.

·· It’s the master of patience. ·· It awakens feelings of love and affection. ·· It gives us pride and places value our work. ·· It is your space and where you connect with nature. ·· It is, definitely, one of the paths that lead to happiness.

Don Roberto Bueno, nurseryman of El Dorado Royale, shares a gift with Absalón: both are the managers in their hotels in charge of growing, reproducing and planting the flora. Their bosses believe they have a “green thumb”. But what does having a “green thumb” consist of? Absalón says that he feels love for plants just as he feels love for his family. Don Roberto says that it is a matter of positive energy, avoiding negative thoughts and putting aside stress. Both agree that it is a matter of being calm, doing things in their proper time, in detail, with love and knowing how to wait and not get overwhelmed. Patience becomes a consequence of gardening. After 21 years of working in the gardens of El Dorado Seaside Suites Riviera Maya, Don Conrado Rodriguez - from the Southerly state of Chiapas - has been trained in the art of patiently waiting, and today, he proudly looks over all the coconut palms he has planted over the years and that totally overwhelm him in physical size. He has watched each of his trees and shrubs grow, making him feel proud and happy with his work.

KARISMA PEOPLE ARTICLE

TIPS FOR PLANTING AND TRANSPLANTING 1. Avoid sowing under a full moon. Preferably wait for a crescent moon.

2. When transplanting a plant, the new hole must be 20 cm (8 in.) larger in diameter than the one it came from. 3. Prepare the land by adding a little bottle of vitamins and a capful of Raizal fertilizer. Mix it evenly.

4. Gently check the plant’s roots, lay them on soil allowing plenty of room. 5. Wrap the roots with soil and try to place them loosely in a medium-soft soil area in the middle of the hole.

6. Water it with a 600 ml. (1/2 qt) of water.

They say that most of those who have arrived to be gardeners, weren’t gardeners before. So, normally they had to be trained form zero, as newbies, and they fell in love with the job while they were breathing in fresh air, working under sun and shade, that found that they have the time to think, meditate and reflect, and they feel, above all: free. Maybe all of us would have liked to learn all the pleasantness of gardening. A simple life, full of love and care. Because in the gardens of these gardeners, it appears to be that the manual labor they perform is a constant meditation on life and its hustle and bustle. Focused and lovers of their jobs, with enviable tranquility and joy that is evident on the surface, it is even clearer what the American poet Walt Whitman once said: “Now I see what the secret is to becoming a better person: grow up outdoors and eat and sleep with the earth. “

CAUTION! Trees can have deep and extensive root systems. If you have a small garden in your house, avoid planting trees. The best you can do is plant shrubs, flowers and other small plants such as palms, garden crotons, etc.

20 / Karisma Hotels & Resorts

It is also very important that you keep them pruned, because the higher they are, the more roots they will send out.

KARISMA PEOPLE ARTICLE

Their favorites Don Roberto Bueno, EDR – Croton. “The garden croton is a popular, simple, colorful plant and is native to Southern India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Malaysia”

Don Conrado Rodríguez, EDS Bugambilia. “It is originally from South America and it is said that it was named after a French military man who discovered it in Brazil in 1768.”

Absalón Pérez, ABR – Anturium. “It is known as the flower of spiritual love because of its heart shape; it is also known as the Flamenco Flower and is native to Latin America. “

Don Bruno Pech, EDS – Bugambilia. “It is a plant that blooms all year round, has bright colors and is very simple to care for. It has both medicinal and culinary uses.”

Obed Romero, EDR – Tulipanes. “Known as hibiscus, this plant is from tropical climates. It has colorful flowers and healing properties such as hypertension, circulatory or heart problems. “

PREPARE YOUR GARDEN SPRAYER

WATER THE PLANTS

To water your plants, we leave this nutritious recipe:

So you have plants now. Well, it’s important that you spend stress-free time and don’t hurry when you water them.

600 ml (1/2qt) Water 1 capful of vitamins 1 capful of Raizal fertilizer

Mix it well, and presto!

When to do it: plants, grass and trees should be watered between 7am to 10am or between 4pm to 10pm. If you water them at noon, it’s like you’re throwing boiling water on them.

How often do you water your plants? Every 2 or 3 days. Tip: if you go on vacation, fill a bucket with water and leave lengths of absorbent yarn that goes from the water bucket to your plants. They will feed themselves.

KARISMA FOUNDATION

HOPE A VOICE OF

after breast cancer

In many cases a mastectomy (surgical removal of the entire breast) is the most viable option for a woman to survive breast cancer. For a woman, of course, the idea of losing an organ so representative of female identity is a devastating event.

Today, the timely detection of breast cancer allows less invasive and aggressive surgeries to take place, but the costs of the alternatives offered by plastic surgeons these days are very high, due of the implications that this type of procedure entails.

October is the month when, worldwide, pink is the predominant color, an attempt to sensitize society about the importance of the prevention and early detection of breast cancer. Clinics, laboratories and hospitals offer access to specialized medical services to make the battle against breast cancer a reality for thousands of women.

And the battle against breast cancer does not end until there is full reconstruction. These costs can range between 25 and 35 thousand dlls, depending on the specialist, the type of reconstruction and the institution where they decide to tend to patients. For many survivors this cost is unattainable especially after the costs already incurred during the battle against cancer are calculated.

KARISMA FOUNDATION

ACHIEVEMENTS AND NEWS MÉXICO

There are few institutions that focus their efforts on this last, but very important, stage in the struggle, as we live in a society in which the breast is associated with femininity. Karisma Foundation, A.C., in conjunction with the Secretary of Health of the State of Quintana Roo, has designed a campaign that has the support of the Mexican Association of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery of Mexico to annually support the financing of breast reconstruction surgeries for low-income families, so that women can access this type of procedure that will bring some measure of closure to the great struggle they have been facing.

1. The delivery of the third shipment in the campaign for donating hearing aids was made and it was a success. We were able to donate 30 hearing aids for children and 40 for adults. This small change means great new horizons and possibilities for these appreciative beneficiaries. 2. 30 prostate blood antigen tests were performed on employees. 3. We had toy collections in Mexico and managed to collect 817 toys that were distributed between January 7th and 8th of this year to children from families with limited resources. 4. In accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, Health Days were held in all the properties in Mexico, where more than eight hundred employees got a medical check-up. 5. We began the pre-selection and evaluation of candidates who will participate in the program Con tus Kilos Ganas (With your Kilos, you win) and will benefit 20 employees of the Riviera Maya. 6. Talks were held in all the hotels of our Riviera Maya properties to promote a blood donation culture within our company and to establish a list of regular donors in case any one of our staff members requires this type of support.

PUNTA CANA 7. In order to provide support to all collaborators who require it, medical studies of pediatric ophthalmology were managed. 8. In order to support the recovery process and improve their quality of life, a donation of arm prostheses was made to a collaborator. The result was incredible!

Vision check and glasses 9. A collaborator suffering from chronic renal failure was supported with medical treatment, which has been a great improvement for his life.

COVER STORY

EL CIELO

A unique and extraordinary experience IN THE VALLEY DE GUADALUPE El Cielo is the first hotel in the Karisma Family whose tourist destination is not the ocean, this means that it is the first hotel with a different attraction to tourists. To understand the concept a little further, it must be understood that we are surrounded by vineyards, regional flora and there are two water reservoirs at the center of the property. El Cielo Winery & Resort by Karisma is distinguished for being a luxury hotel in the middle of the Valle in Baja California, and it is focused on wine tourism. Just 30 minutes from Ensenada and an hour and a half from Tijuana, it is an oasis in the region, with landscapes surrounded by rocky mountains where grape production is the center of attention, year after year bustling with grape harvest and wine production. A refreshing welcome breeze introduces this emerging power in the world of wine, considered one of the best wine regions in the Americas.

RESTAURANTS Polaris, a modern Baja kitchen located at the resort serves breakfast, where the best that the land produces is highlighted by modern presentation techniques worthy of award-winning restaurants.

THE VILLAS The project currently has 20 villas that await the traveler for an unbeatable stay, each with elegant finishes that complement the green and clay visuals in the common areas, where friends, family or couples can lounge and hang out. The villas have 36 Junior Suites on the top floor, 18 Master Suites on the ground floor. All these suites can be combined in a single Villa rental, or they can be rented individually, and there are two Owner’s suites that complement the rooms in this magical place. Still under expansion, the expected total of villas in the complex will be 33, with a total of 62 Junior Suites and 31 Master Suites. Amenities include a living room, dining room, kitchen, fireplace, terrace, firepit and sun beds. Our accommodation offering makes guests feel special, where butlers personalize every interaction and can assist in the development of itineraries, create vineyard reservations, adventure activities and restaurants, all this to emphasize our commitment to achieve a relaxed and unique experience for our guests.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY Our resort and wine industry have a program of social and environmental responsibility called “El Cielo in the land of Sustainable Ecotourism” focused on the three pillars: environment, support to the community and consumption from local producers. For this reason, we have had solar panels installed on the winery and on the roofs of our villas. Plus, we have installed grey and dark water treatment plants as well as a drip irrigation system. These are only some of the initiatives that will be complemented in the future with a new garden and orchard of food products. Further, we have decided on the elimination of plastics, even including our room access keys, these now being made from recycled wood!

Latitud 32, Baja-Yucatán cuisine, is the perfect fusion of both ends of the Mexican Republic where the guest can be delighted by delicacies such as the Black Mayan Ceviche, Duck Salbute, Octopus Tostada with special Valladolid Sausage, the famous Marinated Lamb in a typical meat stew and topped with a slice of Guava. THE WINES Our chefs’ creations are paired with our award winning El Cielo Wines, where it’s like the Planets, Asteroids, Constellations and Stars all line up to combine for an always perfect combination. Guests can count on experience in the vineyard and wine cellar where they can taste wines such as Andromeda Chenin Blanc, Eclipse red wine blend aged 12 months in French oak barrels, Galileo Tempranillo also aged 12 months in French and yellow oak barrels, Perseus 70 % Nebbiolo and 30% Sangiovese aged 24 months in new French oak barrels or Polaris 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc aged 24 months in new French oak barrels and a further 4 years in bottle, all wines blessed by the touch of our winemaker, Jesús Rivera.

It is a pleasure to live the experience of El Cielo Winery & Resort by Karisma every day. This place honors the vision of our owners Mr. Gustavo Ortega and Mr. Martinez, who are a leading a team of experts in hospitality and welcome guests from around the world. They provide them with an immersion into our culture and traditions at Del Valle de Guadalupe and of Baja California, and, of course the added offering of the distinctive touch and global standards of Karisma Hotels & Resorts.

COVER STORY

EL VALLE DE GUADALUPE Valle de Guadalupe is a special valley 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles) long; its contours are lost between the hills and the flat areas that frame it between the Arroyo de Guadalupe and the federal highway that connects Ensenada with Tecate. Since cultivation began, the valley has become a green carpet occasionally interrupted by wineries, gardens, olive groves and rocks. Its beauty is so unique that “if you spend just three days in the Valley, you fall in love and you just want to stay”, says Gustavo Ortega, Founder of El Cielo Wine. GROWTH 90% of the Mexican wine is produced here in this Valle de Guadalupe, where nearly one hundred winemakers meet. At present, the most important companies that are dedicated to the wine industry are: El Cielo Valle de Guadalupe, Monte Xanic, L.A. Cetto, Domecq, Chateau

26

/ Karisma Hotels & Resorts

Camou, Baron Balché, Bibayoff, Mogor Badan, Liceaga Vineyard, Vinisterra, Casa de Piedra and Adobe Guadalupe. In addition, there are a number of craft wine artisans that help make up a beautiful mosaic of options, which makes the region more and more attractive and enriches our destination’s offering. The great growth that Valle de Guadalupe has had in the last decades has generated a real estate boom that, taking advantage of the promotion and recognition of the region as a veritable wine route, has awakened a growing interest in the acquisition of rural land and more and more developers are on the hunt. This phenomenon generates, on the one hand, economic opportunities, but on the other hand, real estate speculation that aggravates social inequality and creates uncertainty and problems for planning and the rational use of valley resources.

COVER STORY

Kumiai woven craft with leaf and willow stick. Community San José de la Zorra.

CULTURE The indigenous descendants of the ancient Kumiai families that came to this valley more than two thousand years ago still inhabit their lands. They reside in two communities settled in the vicinity of the Valle de Guadalupe: to the southeast, San Antonio Nécua or the Encinos canyon, and to the north, San José de la Zorra. Nestled in a corner of the Valle de Guadalupe, the community of San Antonio Nécua is located in a canyon at the base of the Sierra Blanca, which provides an important water supply to the community. Originally, the settlement of San Antonio Nécua was in a valley in the foothills of the mountain, but it was slowly abandoned, and its inhabitants moved down the basin to the Encinos canyon to better monitor and defend their lands. Here they were also closer to the communication routes, and have more employment opportunities and services that the valley offers. For its part, San José de la Zorra is located in a small and remote valley located halfway between the town of La Misión, on the Pacific coast and the El Porvenir ejido in the Valle de Guadalupe. Currently these communities remain open to the public and act as another attraction for the area, especially if one is already visiting the beautiful museum of San Antonio Nécua, where a large part of the history and culture is housed and protected. There are different activities that residents prepare for visitors. When visiting San Jose de las Zorras, you can completely detach yourself from life, and enjoy a quiet afternoon with its beautiful landscape and contemplative and restful area. These hospitable communities invite visitors or neighbors from everywhere to their parties and ceremonies. Another attraction available is Jersey Park, a small zoo-like park in which you can find more than 64 species from in the region. This park has the mission of contributing to the conservation and care of the biodiversity of Mexico and Latin America. A team of professionals research and develop knowledge of fauna, favoring endangered species, and through education, create a healthy and fun learning environment for visitors and provide hope for future generations. Currently this is one of the most important zoos in the northwest of the country, being a reference for the conservation of Latin American fauna, animal welfare, educational training and the number one option for families seeking to complement recreation with education in the Valle de Guadalupe.
