Within 60 years AFS has become the largest provider of exchange programmes worldwide. So far more than 400,000 youths and host families have participated in an exchange in more than 50 countries and have taken the chance to better understand another culture. The goal of AFS has been the same since its formation in 1948: giving young people the opportunity to get to know another culture and therefore advocating tolerance. Pursuing this goal, AFS has found a strong partner in Karlshochschule International University and together they offer the scholarship. For more information please visit www.afs.de.
