Polytechnic Sultan Idris Shah is located at Sabak Bernam, Selangor. The site is close to the existing lake that is rich with natural wonders and tranquility. The design brief is to proposed a new community centre in the campus.

above : Site plan, bno beach, Kelong resort. bagan nakhoda omar is a small town that is located in Sabak bernam district. the town is famous with the cottage industry, sea product and coconut plantation. In the early 2000, the beach area in bno is developed as a tourist attraction area where the notable project of a 3 storey kelong is built in the offshore of the bno beach. the design task is to design a new tourist info centre - cum jetty that will serve the visitor that visiting the beach and the kelong resort.

above : desa paku compound, lendu. desa paku is a residential compound that is located in lendu, alor Gajah Melaka. . desa paku is owned by en Mushlin Musa ,a helicornia enthushiast.the compound is filled with a lush matured trees, & plants such as orchard, helicornia, calatheas, and zingiberaceae. the design task is to built a retreat house for a couple. anthropometric & ergonomics is the aim of the design course. the ambiguity of the space is the main theme of the design. Where the boundaries between inside & outside is ambiguous and still can be controlled. by providing ambigous space, one could relate and response to their environment & appreciating God creations.

While the higest number of financial institutions around the area can make the dead city effect especially at weekend. Sada batIK GallerY. client profile : roshadah yusoff. Sada batik gallery is operated in the langkawi is offering a myriad of art product especially batik. an art class is also conducted in the premises. flora and cultural preferences is some of the inspiration of atma alam batik gallery.
deSIGn concept fluidity ,transparency , and floral motive is some of the ideas and inspirations of the design. the curved ramp and wall with a transpatent membrane clad material was created to give a sensory experience & representation of the batik itself.

above : Sect 14 Shah alam . sect 14 Shah alam is a vibrant city centre areas with the various commercial, institutionals and cultural areas. the change of the couple with children is high there in addition with lack of nursery to serve the demand.
Early childhood development centre DESIGN OBJECTIVE In the urban areas, a piece of greeneries is scare. The design objective is to appreciate the context of the site: surrounded by matured trees, and responsive to the environment.
The site is surrounded by two major monumental building, a state museum and state theatre. The design seek a hommage to the context and surrounding by limiting the height of the proposed building to not exceeding 3 metre height/ not exceeding height of the trees. Design approach. Two notable areas is identitifed that is : served and servant areas. The servant ( common space, toilet, cubby) is located in the centre to serve the served areas ( the module) . The module is design based on the irregular shape of the trees to create a dynamic shape.

proJect brIef the project aim is to provide a luxury residential enclave that compromising a landed housing build in a strata title act. zero lot bungalow and townhouse unit was selected in this proposed development. based on the Maslow hierarchy of needs, the conceptual diagram was made and highlighting the hypothetical issue of the end users needs.

the proposed roof system is open web joist roof truss. open web joist also is used for the audio visual wall & floor structural frame system. open web joist allow greater span at the library space tus reducing the needs of column. chs. steel profile was used due to the curvilinear shape of the roof profile.

115 Design approach : the design is intended to tackle some of the issue that is associated with the campus building. Connectivity is the main issue of the campus design where we try to solve by determining the access for the student and lecturers to the designated areas. In the same time, the design seek for the new campus to be “student oriented “ rather than “ admin oriented” . Celebration of outdoor spaces is the key concern to promote healthy environment for the student.
