Compassion, justice, integrity, respect & service:

The Mercy core values, the mission of Georgian Court You’ll see the signs as you drive on campus—literally and figuratively—compassion, justice, integrity, respect, and service. But what do these words mean? They are the Mercy core values—the foundational values of our sponsoring organization, the Sisters of Mercy—and the values at the heart of the GCU experience. The Mercy core values are integrated throughout the campus—in the curriculum, in campus service initiatives, and in our daily interactions with each other. Each degree program includes a service learning component that blends meaningful service with instruction and reflection to provide real-world experience while strengthening communities and teaching civic responsibility. Everyone has leadership potential, but for most it needs to be encouraged, nurtured, and practiced. Women in Leadership Development (WILD) is an intensive four-year program that helps you discover the confidence, poise, and trust in yourself that you need to shine. You’ll start with personal exploration exercises and activities to understand the choices you make—personally, academically, and professionally. Making these important choices in an informed and thoughtful way is the key to becoming the woman you want to be. Once you know more about yourself and who you really are, you’ll focus on where you want to go and who you want to be. You’ll work with our Career Services team and network with accomplished women from an array of professional fields. You’ll discover all that is out there, just waiting for you.
