Making Memories at M.A.C Article by Megan Kneiser The Membership Awareness Conference is always a blast, and it is also a perfect example of our three tenants, service, leadership, and fellowship, in action. We go up to Camp Wawbeek, a respite camp for people living with disabilities, to help them close up for the winter. This year we helped clean and organize the craft shop, cut down old trees, clean up the leaves and flower beds, and any other tasks the staff needed help with. While working on these activities we got to meet other people from all over Wisconsin and Upper Michigan who share the same passion for service that we do. After we got camp all cleaned up, there are some activities going on that we could go to with our new friends! There were lots of options like hayrides, movies, and Zumba classes (to name a few). There were also breakout sessions where we could learn more about Circle K and get training for different leadership positions.
