We have revamped and revitalized our parties this fall. KAC now offers several different packages allowing you to choose your project, decorations and party theme. You can add on special touches such as hand-made invitations and thank-you cards. Other options include pinatas and themed party hats and costumes as well as stuffed animals, t-shirts or giant cards for your guests to sign, commemorating your child’s special day. KAC’s creative and unique goody bags are sure to be appreciated!

For teens we offer a variety of party packages. Options include hammered letter jewelry, clay silver, beading, painting and pottery. Add on options include henna, t-shirts, flip-flop decorating, make-up, nail art & more. Age appropriate takeaway gifts for your guests such as beading kits, mani/pedi kits and art sets are also available.

Our art parties for adults have become increasingly popular over the past couple of years! Sharing the experience of learning something new makes for a fun, memorable evening! Some of our adult party choices are Pinot & Paint, Mud & Merlot, Beading & Bubbly and Fromage and Fused Glass. You are also free to choose your own party topic and we will provide the instructor and materials. Host a meet-up, surprise your co-workers, or just come with a group of your favorite friends.

Creative Sewing for Kids (grades 3-5)

Students learn basic construction techniques using both hand and machine sewing. Using these skills, we will make tote bags, stuffed animals, holiday projects, simple wearable items and more. There is a $30 material fee for this class.

Pottery Wheel for Kids This very small class will focus solely on the wheel. Students will earn the basics of wheel throwing while making a variety of thrown forms. Class is limited to six students so register early. Wed

Make a Horror Film (ages 9 & up)

Together we will write and shoot our own (nottoo-scary) “horror movie” to share with the world on YouTube! This class will cover screenwriting, storyboarding, shooting, acting for the camera and editing on iMovie. Take your filmmaking skills to the next level.

Robotic Sculpture (grades 3-5)

Sculpture & More Explore the world

Tues

of 3D art. In this class we will cover basic and complex sculpture techniques. We will explore kinetic sculpture, such as bobble heads, mobiles and vehicles with moving parts, as well at static sculpture. Stop-Motion Animation (ages 6-10) Love Wallace & Gromit? Then this is the class for you! Design your own characters from clay and/or found objects and bring them to life using Stop Motion Animation. Furries Anonymous (grades 5+) Welcome to Furries Anonymous, here we teach students to get in touch with their wild side. Learn to draw animalistic characters, mostly recognized in popular Disney or 3D animated cartoons. Artists will practice and learn how to structure and make animal proportions while also applying them to a human body to create an anthropomorphic feel and possibly make their own “Fursona” as many other artists do in the furry community. Make a Zine! The zine is an inexpensive self published collaboration between art and writing which is customarily created by physically cutting and gluing text and images together onto a master flat to be photocopied and turned into a book. Find your voice and create your own zine in this interesting creative class!

Drawing & Painting for High Schoolers In this class high school students will paint from the subject and medium matter of their choice. Instruction is done on individual basis. has helped our students gain admission to some of the best art schools in the country! Our Art & Imagination camps are designed to provide a warm, welcoming environment geared specifically towards the creative spirit of the young child. Each weekly camp is a creative mix of arts and crafts projects, free art play, storytime, outdoor playtime and collaborative art. We also offer a two (M&F) or three day option (T,W,Th). We only accept 8 children for each session, so please be sure to register early.
