Western On Sunday October 15, Surf City 10 Miler was held Long Beach in the early morning. Volunteers went on a shuttle bus to the water station they were assigned to. Western Key Club got assigned to water station #3 which was at the Bolsa Chica Restoration. Once we got there, we had to fill up cups with water with a hose or pitcher. It was still dark so, I used my phone’s flashlight for others to see where to pour water. They provided

Dog toy making wasn’t a division 30 south event, but an event Katella Key Club held with two other clubs from our school, Paws for a Clause and Disney Service Club. We all met up at a park nearby our school. Members from any of the three club brought in old T-shirts and had the option of bringing more than 4 for extra

The dog toys were then donated to a local shelter. Even though we had a big pile of T-shirt’s still left, we made about two box fills of sturdy dog toys. It was a simple yet productive event
