Sharon Takeda Sharon Takeda has always had a strong passion for the culinary arts, and throughout her first career in radio and television, the love of food was never far from her heart. She was often found encouraging departmental pot-lucks, organizing culinary excursions during lunch, and throwing dinner parties—if food was in it, she was generally behind it—and realized that helping people was the key to true fulfillment, and bringing people together over a meal was the ultimate. Being an instructor at Francis Tuttle brought her passion for food full circle. She tells students, “The best things you can give people are the things you love, and I’m sharing my love of food with you!” Her philosophy is simple, “Food unites people.” Just like music, it breaks all barriers and brings people together from all walks of life. It’s the sharing in the experience that makes the difference!
