The term "Solid State" came to be in the late 50's as semiconductors replaced vacuum tube technology. Solid state components are solid elements and compounds used to control current, as introduced in semiconductor theory. Two forms of current, negative charged electrons and positive charged electron deficiencies are identified as you construct and operate semi-conductor devices, diodes, and transistors, TRIAC, DIAC and silicone controlled rectifiers. You will install solid-state control devices in control circuit and learn how they operate. Troubleshooting the various types of controls and circuits is required in industry, as well as understanding the operation of components in a process control system. Solid working knowledge of methods to interface analog input devices and control devices is also a necessary skill. These control circuits are utilized in fire alarm circuitry and other systems.

Kombucha-also known as mushroom tea and tea fungus-is a brewed, fermented acidic tea beverage which has been made by humankind since before the time of Jesus. Kombucha has been claimed to be a magical elixir enabling people to live forever. Less flamboyant folks claim it detoxifies the body and energizes the mind. Be that as it may, kombucha is relatively new to America-having been "discovered" in 1995. It is stimulating, invigorating, effervescent and caffeinated beverage. At its most basic, kombucha is brewed and fermented tea, sugar and a SCOBY-a symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast. In addition to learning how to brew and ferment kombucha, this class will teach the importance of cleanliness during brewing and fermenting. At the completion of class, students will have their own kombucha beverage-and a SCOBY-to bring home for fermenting. Please bring a half gallon wide-mouth mason jar with cap and lid to class.

Short Sales - CE

HOT 176557 Negotiating a short sale with a lender can be complicated, but with careful research and patience, it is possible for you to earn big profits with short sale deals. Pre-foreclosure properties are ideal because you can make more money with them versus homes that are already bank-owned. Reaching homeowners who are more than three payments behind on their mortgages is the most advantageous.
