Needlework

There are two methods of knitting, English and Continental, also known as European. Both methods produce the same result. The difference is in how the yarn is handled while knitting.

English knitters wrap the yarn around the needle while forming the stitch; Continental knitters pick the yarn from back to front to form the stitch. English knitters are also known as "throwers", Continenal knitters are known as "pickers".
