The goals of this course are to meet the state's 90-hour course requirements for licensure, with an interesting and comprehensive course that will prepare students to conduct a thorough home or building inspection of structures and systems. The course will also prepare students for the national online exam. It is a great course for first time home buyers and investors. Home Inspection Plumbing: OL

Students learn proper inspection of the interior water supply and distribution systems, including all fixtures and faucets, the drain, waste and vent systems including all fixtures. Additionally, the water heating equipment, the vent systems, flues and chimneys, the fuel storage and fuel distribution systems, drainage sumps, sump pumps and related piping are covered. This class is approved for 4 hours of CE credit.

Electricity, and all of its components, is one of the most widely-used systems in a home. Without electricity the home comes to a standstill. In this class you will learn the proper inspection procedure for the service drop, the service entrance conductors, cables and raceways, service equipment and main disconnects, service grounding, interior components of the service panels and sub panels, conductors, and overcurrent protection devices. Other areas covered in this class include all accessible installed lighting fixtures, switches, ceiling fans and receptacles, ground fault circuit interrupters, accessible wiring/splicing, including the basement and attic. Of all the dumplings in the world, gnocchi has to be one of the favorites! Whether made from potatoes, semolina, ricotta or pate choux, they are delicious and easy.

Receive instruction in firearm nomenclature and inspection, shooting fundamentals, safety, and 24 hours of firing range shooting. Sessions one and two meet at Francis Tuttle, Last three days meet at designated firing range. Students may participate in training and receive certification with a revolver or a semi-automatic pistol. Minimum caliber for semi-auto pistols is 9mm and .38sp for revolvers. REQUIREMENTS: Student must be 21 years or older, with 100% attendance. Student must have a reliable and safe service-type firearm that will pass a safety inspection by the instructor, plus a strong side belt-supported holster and three extra magazines or speed loaders with pouch required. Students will supply their own firearms, plus 400 rounds of factory loaded ammunition for their handgun (firearms must be in locked trunk, ammunition in separate secured area). PREREQUISITE: Successfully completed Phase I and II or Phase I and III prior to enrollment. Only CLEET Instructor will determine participant's ability to safely use a handgun in the classroom and firing range. If student has limited or no handgun experience, enroll in our "Basic Handgun Safety" course prior to enrollment in Phase IV Students must complete the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) test, have the results evaluated by a state licensed psychologist and fax the notarized CLEET test affidavit to 717.4940 prior to enrollment.
