College Credit Available in Many Programs* While completing coursework at Francis Tuttle, you can earn college credit for an Associate of Applied Science degree with Oklahoma City Community College, Oklahoma State University- Oklahoma City or Oklahoma State University-Institute of Technology. Graphic communications is the exchange of information in a visual form, such as words, drawings, photographs, or any combination of these. The healthcare industry is booming. With the development of new technology come new treatment modalities. In the ten years leading up to 2018, healthcare will have developed 3.2 million new wage and salary jobs. People with various educational backgrounds will be needed to fill these positions. Most of the occupations in the healthcare industry require less than four years of college. Advanced Health Science students complete certifications in Nurse Aide (NA) and Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA). A basic study of body function and structures, diseases and diet are also studied with a focus on bloodborne pathogens, disease communications and safety issues. Diesel technology affects far more than just trucks. Diesel technology covers, to name a few, heavy equipment, oil exploration and extraction, marine, the natural gas industry, and big trucks. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, diesel technicians held about 270,000 jobs in 2004. That number is projected to grow between 9 to 17 percent through 2014. Hands-on diesel training will prepare students to work on Cummins, Caterpillar, Freightliner, International and Volvo, to name a few of the industry partners. The program is flexible to allow students and the incumbent workforce to enter at any time and plan a training schedule that meets their needs. Training is evaluated through intense studies in the classroom and hands-on evaluations in the lab.
