what your friends are saying Buyer’s Agent: Jeremy Asmus “We worked with the Kenmore team in purchasing out home in West Richland. Our specific agent was Jeremy Asmus and we had excellent service from him. He was responsive to all calls and texts, typically responding within 2-5 minutes. He made serious efforts to fit us into his day and was available after hours. He stopped by after we took possession on a Wednesday night at 6:30 to see if he could help with anything. When we were in a bidding situation, he did not pressure us to outbid anyone but was clear about what it might take to get the home. We felt Jeremy did an amazing job. Holly Davis was awesome with the post contract process. Overall we were extremely happy with working with Jeremy Asmus and Holly Davis with the Kenmore team.” – Jenny R
Buyer’s Agent: Cindy patrick “I worked with Cindy Patrick as a buyer’s agent and am now the proud owner of the home I absolutely fell in love with. Cindy never pressured me to select a home but in fact, she was honest about what she saw in the homes we viewed that made them undesirable in meeting my needs. I had been pre-approved before I met with her and so we knew what price range to look at and she was always ready to take me into newly listed homes. I was receiving regular emails and she would often check with me to ensure that I did see the email so I wouldn’t miss out on a home that may not last long. I really liked the personal touches. Cindy helped me to be positive that we would find me the right house. The home I bought we actually had our first offer rejected. When the home continued to be on the market and I told her how that was the only home I really wanted, she helped re-do the offer, and really not much had changed, and this time it was accepted. I truly felt that she was more helping a friend than just doing a job. Kenmore Team, and Cindy, will ALWAYS come highly recommended by me and my family!” – Candice T
Buyer’s Agent: Jessica Hollandsworth “We just recently purchased a house through the Kenmore team in Kennewick WA and we are extremely pleaded with their service. Jessica Hollandsworth with the Kenmore team was amazing. She came out with us whenever she could and even began our paper work new years eve when there was no one else in the office. The Kenmore team made sure they always got back to us in a very timely manner. I would definitely recommend going through them if you are buying or selling a home.” –Selene H
Buyer’s Agent: Sarah Machiela “Our decision to buy a house was definitely spur of the moment. We knew that the housing market was great for sellers and we had been talking about needing more space. I had been given Sarah’s contract information and sent her an email asking for a meeting to discuss selling our current house and looking for another. It all happened so fast! In just a few short weeks we had put in a contingent offer on our new house and listed ours. Our house had 4 offers in less than 24 hours! It was crazy! We are happily settled in our new house now and I couldn’t be more thankful for getting to work with such an awesome team! Sarah was awesome about dealing with my impatience and wanting to see numerous houses. Holly was AWESOME to work with once we had found our dream home. All in all, it was a very easy and fast experience and I would recommend the Kenmore team to all my friends and family!” – Meegan D
Buyer’s Agent: Chris Cowgill
show us every inch of the land we were about to purchase; never an ounce of discomfort or a word of displeasure. ...We now referred to her as our ‘Real-estate Superhero.’ You can trust this review as a sincere testimonial to the treatment, professional competence and commitment, and friendship we were able to engage in with Chris Cowgill of the Kenmore Team LLC. We now own our dream home.” – Reggie E
Listing Agent: Alex Burden Lance , Alex, and Holly are amazing!!! Very informative, honest, and professional. Our first meeting Lance and Alex came prepared with all the information to make an informative decision on selling our home. The whole processes was smooth and they kept us informed on what was going on and sold our home very quickly. They priced our home right and had 3 offers in 4 days. Just amazing people. Thank you Lance , Alex, and Holly for a great experience. My wife and I recommend this team to anyone looking sell or buy a home with confidence.” – Sam W.
Listing Agent: kellen adcock We had such a wonderful experience with the Kenmore team! From the selling of our house, to purchasing a new home ... everything went so smoothly and we were kept in the loop throughout the entire process. Kellen priced our house perfectly, and it sold within 2 days - then Jessica helped us find a new home and we absolutely love it! The Kenmore Team has a designated person assigned to each and every task of buying and selling your home. This makes everything extremely organized and the ball never gets dropped. – Amy C
“FANTASTIC!! My wife and I embarked upon the journey to purchase a home; we had tried this once prior and found little guidance, so when we met Chris Cowgill from the Kenmore Team LLC, located in Kennewick, WA we were skeptical--but not for long. She sprang into action immediately. She was forth right and answered all of our concerns--endlessly, and without any indication of toil. Her approach was genuine and thorough. She scaled walls, walked through rough pasture (in heals, I might add) to

Dura-shine Clean Features
Owning a business is hard work. Carlos Martinez and his mother knew how to work hard and wanted to make some extra money over 25 years ago when their cleaning business was born out of the trunk of their car. Today DuraShine Clean operates six branches of their commercial cleaning business with over 70 employees continuing the hard work, putting their clients first. In the early years, the business was a side job for Carlos, but after 10 years he left his day to day job to focus on his company. Just six months later, he expanded to the Tri-Cities from Othello. A brief stint working for a national cleaning company had shown him what he shouldn’t do as a business. From that he steadily built on his core principles of hard work and client satisfaction. The process is what sets Dura-Shine apart from the competition. “We truly believe we have a good process,” said Martinez. “I’ve had some clients for 23 years and still have our first client.” Dura-Shine prides themselves on keeping up with the newest trends, best equipment, and staying connected with the client and the community. In 2013, they moved into a brand new custom building in Pasco that met their growing needs and showcased their desire to contribute to the community. This same year, the company was named Mid-Columbia Small Business of the Year and made over $36,000 in donations back to their region. All of their employees are asked to give back in one way 22 FEATURED: Dura-Shine Clean

“Partnering with Dura-Shine was the best decision we made for the fair last year. Our facility has never been cleaner. Dura-Shine’s employees were pleasant, well-kept, and hardworking, going above and beyond to fill a need. Dura-Shine has been offering its services for this cause for over a decade. “I’m passionate. Not just about cleaning, but about service to our clients and making a difference in our community,” stated Carlos. The business remains a family operation, even with all of its expansion. At the core is their loyalty to the principles of hard work, client satisfaction, and community involvement. This allows them to stay focused and continue to provide the high-quality service to their increasing customer base.

Residential Seller’s Corner INTERNET EXPOSURE It has been reported by the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) that 94% of all home buyers start their home search on line. When you decide to list your home for sale with the Kenmore Team you’ll have the comfort of knowing that your home will get more exposure than any other real estate agent or team could give you! We invest an extra $5,000 per month in our online presence to be sure you are not only on these sites, but your property is optimized to appear in the maximum number of searches.
SELLING TIP Thinking of selling? Look at your house through the eyes of a buyer or someone who is seeing your house for the first time. Make a list of the top ten selling features of your house, items that your sellers agent can feature as they conduct showings. Also make a list of the ten worst selling features to come up with, these features might be a great place to tackle before putting your home on the market.

The benefits 1. EXPERIENCE: Property managers have experience with the necessary tasks to operate and ensure tenant and property owner satisfaction over multiple properties. As a part of their work every day, they are skilled at working to fill vacancies, working with current tenants, ensuring that properties are maintained and maintenance as necessary. The experience in these areas and many others allows them to work efficiently and effectively. 2. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH PROFESSIONALS: The Property Manager works with skilled professionals in order to maintain your property and keep your investment in top shape. The Property Manager also takes care of coordinating and scheduling these professionals as the need arises to keep all operations flowing smoothly.

This includes emergencies or needs that arise in the evenings and over the weekend. 4. INVESTMENT INCOME: Your benefit as a property owner is the additional investment income that your properties will bring without the attached work load. 5. TENANT SCREENING: A thorough screening process managed by the property manager will result in better tenants who are more likely to pay on time, rent longer, and cause less damage to the unit. An experienced property manager can see red flags, and help avoid rental scams, and potential lawsuits.

Porter’s Real Barbecue
By far best BBQ in town. You can tell that the owner is passionate and you can taste the love. The only things that could make this place better is removing whatever they put in their food that makes it so darn addicting!” -Destiny A (Facebook review) 38 FEATURES: Porter’s real barbecue

Porter’s real barbecue
Kenmore Team Commercial worked with Porter’s real barbecue on their expansion! Passion is hard to ignore. Porter Kinney learned this just three short years ago when his passion for barbecue overpowered the security of his steady job. Growing up, he was the kid happy to grill in the backyard when his dad didn’t want to. But that wasn’t exactly when he was hooked. It was his time as a young adult in South Carolina when he experienced delicious real southern barbecue – not backyard grilling – that set the wheels in motion. Porter’s Real Barbecue began in an old RV that Porter transformed with his own hands, into a mobile food truck. It was risky, but it was the quickest way to share his delicious food with the Tri-Cities community after five years perfecting the recipe and process to make it exactly what he wanted. From the truck’s first day open in John Dam Plaza in October 2014 until June 2015, the business consistently sold out of food five days a week. With the business exceeding expectations, Porter called on family to help. His wife and mother stepped in during their off hours to help him out. While the small space only allowed them to prepare and sell 200 pounds of meat per day, it was a much better beginning than he ever dreamed of. But it was still small. “I had a gallon of mustard hit me in the head,” explained Porter when talking about his adventures in the early days. Without the ability to expand to meet customer demands with limited space and staff, something needed to change. Porter’s brother Reed joined the business to help follow the dream and expand to a bigger location. From the beginning, the business venture has been fueled by passion, hard work, and family. Their expansion to the Richland Parkade was no exception. Despite their lack of experience in the restaurant business, they knew this was the next step. The building was gutted and rebuilt to match their needs for more production as well as creating an inviting space that didn’t take the focus off the food. Reed oversaw the project, doing much of the work himself and the next phase was in full swing. The new location opened just a month after shutting k e n m o r e q u a r t e r ly

down their truck, allowing them to expand production with two new smokers, and share their delicious fare with more Tri-Citians. The dining space design is simple yet inviting. The customers are able to order and then watch their food being cut and prepared right in front of them. This is no accident. The Kinney’s are proud of the simplicity of the whole process. It is still all about the authentic barbecue flavors that are born from the slow overnight process of smoking meat over local apple and cherry wood. The unique recipes perfected by Porter include prime grade meats and fresh quality products. The kitchen has no freezers, microwaves, fryers, or warmers. Everything they serve is fresh. The disadvantage to serving only fresh food is that they do run out. When any of their menu items sells out for the day, there is no more until the next day. Porter’s Real Barbecue is open for lunch and dinner, but getting their earlier in the day ensures you won’t walk empty handed - salivating after catching the delicious aromas of the sold-out meats. They know this isn’t an ideal situation for customers, so despite their short time in business, Porters is working with Kenmore Team and a local builder to open a new production facility allowing them to ramp up production to 1,000 pounds of slowcooked meat per day. Their goal is to have three to four restaurant locations throughout the Tri-Cities while maintaining the high quality and consistency of their food by preparing it all in one location. Quality should never be lost due to growth. This family business will continue to be fueled by passion and hard work, producing amazing authentic barbecue that the Kinney’s want to share with all. Be sure to watch for their new locations coming soon to an area near you!

“We ate there for the first time yesterday at lunch time. All I could say was “holy cannoli!” and Jon kept saying “mmmm, mmmm, mmmm”, because he couldn’t stop eating the brisket and baked beans long enough to actually speak. I had the pulled pork and coleslaw. Loved them both! Definitely going to try the Gouda mac & cheese and banana pudding next time. As we were leaving we both said to each other “this is a real treasure!” -- Jon and Pat (facebook Review) k e n m o r e q u a r t e r ly
