I was thrilled to be asked to host the opening day of the Electric SUV Expo...This event, however, was next level - literally! To get up close and personal XPENG’s flying car was a year highlight. I was excited to see the new marques coming to Australia, the finessing of existing ones, and the advances in EV technology... It was an action-packed event brilliantly organised by Ray Evans and his “wingpeople” - the team - at Future Drive Auto.

"Events like the Melbourne Electric SUV Expo gives us an amazing opportunity to not only create training videos but take groups of responders around the expo floor to see everything coming to market. These opportunities are snatched up by responders and we can’t thank the Future Drive team enough for helping us help responders to be safer around electric vehicles."

"The 2024 Electric SUV expo in Melbourne was a great opportunity for both EV enthusiasts and potential buyers to learn more about electric vehicles currently on offer in the Australian market as well as gain insights from industry experts on new and emerging trends. Looking forward to attending future shows!"

hought the panel organisation was ellent...It was lovely that the two ning plaintiffs from the landmark High rt case turned up on the same panel (we ld have talked all day about that story!).

moderator handled things well, and the ience was receptive and had some good stions It was great we also had space to ude a unique, privately owned, electric vehicle conversion – living proof that before they went mainstream, the only way to get an EV was to build your own! All in all, I had a positive experience!"

"As a woman who isn't into cars at all, I find the show to be quite enjoyable Seeing the latest technology in cars and what the futures looking like in the EV motors. Definitely slowly converting me to purchasing one.."

"The Electric SUV Expo provided many opportunities to see the latest EVs and learn of the rapid technological advances occurring with EVs, particularly their batteries and driver assistance aids. I found the range of guest speakers and topics most informative. The opportunity to test drive the latest EVs was great. I am now more informed about my next vehicle purchase, which is 99% sure to be an EV."

Glenn Corey, Director, Business Advisory Firm, 50s, male

"Attending the recent EV Show was an eyeopening experience that deepened my understanding of the electric vehicle landscape... I was excited to hear about the new EV models set to launch in Australia, especially those with shorter battery charging times, which could significantly enhance user experience Overall, the EV Show provided invaluable insights into the future of electric mobility, and I left feeling inspired about the possibilities that lie ahead.

"With many new brands to Australia, it was exciting to get up close and personal with the cars to see, and test drive, what will be hitting our roads very soon."

"The electric SUV event was a great example of where personal transportation is heading. A very well organised event, with highly informative presentations by industry insiders through the day, providing up to date information on EV ownership."

"Attending the EV Expo for the first time was an exhilarating experience! I was thrilled to explore a wide range of major EV brands and even had the chance to take several models for test drives. The event was a fantastic opportunity to compare features from different companies and find the perfect electric vehicle to meet my needs."

THANK YOU

On behalf of the entire Future Drive AutoShows team, I want to express our sincere gratitude for your unwavering support in making this year’s event a reality—Australia's first dedicated electric SUV event!

The Electric SUV Expo was a remarkable success, largely thanks to the incredible contributions from our sponsors and exhibitors. Your showcased vehicles and cutting-edge technologies captivated an audience of over 15,500 visitors and media representatives. The overwhelmingly positive feedback, particularly regarding the success of the test drive program, underscores the growing demand for electric SUVs.

The Electric SUV Expo marks the beginning of our broader electric vehicle initiative in the Future Drive EV event series, with the return of a major motor show after twelve years—the Sydney International EV AutoShow at ICC Sydney. We're excited to build on this momentum as we prepare for the Sydney event in November 2024, and we hope you'll join us once again.

We look forward to continuing our successful partnership and driving the future of electric vehicles together.
