Emma Sutcliffe, director of EV Firesafe, will lead a session debunking the myth that EVs are prone to catching fire. She’ll explain the science of “thermal runaway” in lithium-ion batteries, including why such events are rare and how drivers can safely manage their EVs. Our EV Myth Busting panel will tackle some of the most common myths head-on, showing why EVs are not only safe but essential to a sustainable future.

easy is it to charge my EV when I’m out and about?
If you’re considering an EV for your travels, there are plenty of tools to help find chargers along the way. How much does it cost to charge?
The cost of charging can vary according to several factors - from how often you need to charge, to whether you charge at work, home, or on the move, and the speed of charger you use.
