Why build a social network?
Consumers will be shocked if your business isn’t on social media, ready to be found.
Building a network will give you valuable new insights into your customers.
Open the doors to new industry connections and competitor insights you didn’t have before.
There are real people on the other side of your social media post – talk to them!

Social Media Strategy
What is your purpose for being on social media? Who is your target audience? How will you start building your network? Which hashtags will you use? What groups should you join? How frequently will you recycle or create new content? How will you manage your accounts? How much is your budget for paid ads?
My predictions for 2017‌ 1. VIDEO! Don’t ignore the rise of video as the world continues to get smaller, information is being consumed faster and in visual formats. 2. Direct Messaging! Consumers want direct access to brands and they want it now! Keep an eye on evolving options to help you business connect directly with your followers. 3. Mobile First! With 90% of Canadians owning a smartphone and over 50% of Google searches happening on these devices, make sure your website and social media are mobile friendly! 4. Pay-to-Play! Advertising space online is limited, and organic reach is decreasing daily. Be prepared to spend more $$ to get your products and services in front of the right audiences.
"We see a world that is video-first, with video at the heart of all of our apps and services." ~Mark Zuckerberg
