About Me I was always an early adopter of technology and comfortable using and teaching others how to effectively use digital media tools. As a teacher, I always made use of new technology in my classroom, encouraging students to take risks while learning how to be responsible digital citizens. I also became a leader among my teaching colleagues and the go-to techy on staff. As a mother, teacher and a female entrepreneur, I offer a unique perspective on the use social media for personal and business use. Teach Me Social was founded in 2012 to empower business owners to take control of their own digital media presence and maintain an authentic voice for their brand through learning and implementing emerging social media technologies.

Where do I start?
Choose your platform and plan your content by understanding your target market and their viewing habits. Ask: Where does your ideal customer ‘hang out’ online? What kinds of content are they interested in? Note: The same video can be re-purposed on multiple platforms by tweaking the length and depth of the message.
