Annotation Concert Usually shower cabins are provided in artistic rooms of concert hall, which can be used for performance. For that it is necessary to amplify performer and shower surfaces. Webcam can be also used for visual and intimate contact with audience. Soprano During the piece performer sings most often with water in the mouth, rinsing throat. Other techniques are marked in the score. If there any discomfort or problems with rinsing, performer should to spend some tome for training: a few minutes pro day during a week will lead to desirable result. Shower Showerhead should not be fixed to the wall, i.e. performer can hold and move it. The best way to use shower head for garden. Use of shower spray: Performer waters three different surfaces. If in the shower cabin there is only one surface on the walls and floor, then it is necessary to install two more. For this purpose can be used big plastig bag, foam plastic plate etc. -‐ surface, giving noise with more high pitches. -‐ surface, giving noise with more middle pitches. -‐ surface, giving noise with more low pitches. -‐ “strike”, sharp shift of shower stream. cresc./dim. – smoothly open/close shower. pp – minimal stream of water, separate drops of water. Microphones For performance and rehearsal can be used condensate or dynamical microphone, which should be installed above shower cabin, above performer. For surfaces amplification can be used condensate or dynamical microphone with water protection. Attention! Ask author for recording with examples of sounds.
