Wheat and corn moved lower as the mid-October rally failed to move above key resistance. While world wheat prices have moved slowly higher, the quick run-up in US values appears to have priced some of our wheat out of the export market. With record world wheat production this year, it is expected that export competition will be intense throughout the marketing year and even small rallies can stifle demand. Corn values were also lower as harvest across the Midwest moves beyond the half-way point. Record US production is quickly filling storage facilities and farmers are moving extra supplies into the cash market, keeping pressure on both basis and futures. Soybeans were higher, led by strong soy oil that has found support from soaring world palm oil prices. Supply shortfalls of palm oil in the southeast Asian region are supporting vegetable oil prices around the globe and soy oil, along with soybeans, have certainly benefitted from it as well. Cattle markets caught a strong updraft, and the rally induced fund short-covering as well. american hero

of the WEEK

In honor of Veterans' Day, we begin our series recognizing our military heroes in the pages of Tricia's Trader. Enjoy reading about our most honored vets as we tell their stories of heroism, beginning with our very own staff member, MARSHALL MORD. We are proud to know Marshall. To nominate someone you think is an American Hero, simply contact any staff member listed on page 8 inside. SPC MARSHALL LESLIE MORD: SPC Mord served in the Wyoming National Guard from May 2002 to May 2008. He was deployed to the Middle East from Feb. 2004 to May of 2005. He spent some time in Kuwait but served 12 months in Baghdad, Iraq. Initially, his mission was training the Irqai police, but later his unit was attached to the Navy SEALs. SPC Mord was recognized in April 2005 for his exemplary performance of duties while serving as a member of the Naval Special Warfare Task Group Arabian Peninsula Personal Security Detail for the top ranking officials of the Iraqi Interim Government from October 2004 to April 2005. As stated in his Certificate of Appreciation, "You consistently displayed keen operational insight and superb initiative in the execution of your assigned duties. Working tirelessly with the U.S. Navy SEAL Close-in-Protection elements, you provided superb static protection while under the imminent threat of direct and indirect fire consisting of mortars, rockets, rocket

propelled grenades and small arms fire. Your countless hours of shielding Iraqi officials from possible threats for over 180 days represents the true character and perseverance of U.S. forces serving in Iraq." SPC Mord lead 10-30 men on combat missions all across the Middle East, and left active duty as an E-5 SGT. He was seriously injured in multiple attacks throughout his deployment. Upon his return home, he spent the rest of his time with the military training men for combat and was an instructor for six different weapon systems, personnel searches and vehicle searches. After his discharge in 2008, Marshall spent time working in the oil and gas industry in his home state of Wyoming, and later moved with his family to central Montana in 2015 to take a position with "Tricia's Trader", and move closer to family. He currently lives in Grass Range.

Ramblings of a Conservative

Cow Doctor by Krayton Kerns, DVM, former State Rep. HD 58

America’s Political Safety Valve Republican never-Trumpers, plus Libertarians should consider this: America will survive the worst of a Donald Trump presidency, but she will not survive even the very best of a Hillary Clinton presidency. The reason why can be found in our Constitution, Article II, Section 4— impeachment. Studying the ideology underlying each candidate’s campaigns, reveals this truth. In 1776, Thomas Jefferson correctly declared our rights are endowed from our Creator. Eleven years later, framers penned our Constitution as a restraining order blocking government’s infringement on these natural rights. The powers granted the federal government were few and enumerated with the balance of unnamed powers falling to the states and the people. This rightly places responsibility and ultimately success or failure, directly on the shoulders of the people. Our Constitution is a magnificent, ageless document, but only if we hold it in high esteem. in this camp. In 1848, Karl Marx published his devious Communist Manifesto which capitalizes on envy; man’s innate weakness to covet his neighbor’s stuff. Over the last century, America’s ruling class has incrementally implemented Marxism disguised as liberalism or progressivism. With natural rights and the Constitution removed from the equation, the ruling elite ensnare the little people with mythical, created rights to healthcare, food, a living wage and now a college education. Government can only give away what they first steal from someone else and someone else always runs out of money before politicians run out of promises. Hence, our 20 trillion dollar debt. Hillary Clinton frolics in this camp. Here is where it gets dangerous. A President Hillary Clinton and her cabal are so loyal to Marxism, they ignore the Constitution and Bill of Rights, thereby effectively removing impeachment

from the equation. Democrats and establishment Republicans will never, ever convict her of “treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanors,” as evidenced by her successful skirting of law as Secretary of State. If she can so manipulate justice as an ex-Secretary of State, as leader of the free world her administration would be corruption on steroids. “Justice for all” is a catchy phrase, but Secretary Clinton has rendered it meaningless for the ruling class. A Donald Trump presidency would be different because the Constitution, including impeachment, remains on the table. He is so hated by Democrats and establishment Republicans, even the most innocuous legal infraction could be considered “high crimes, and misdemeanors.” This is why America has a safety valve with a Trump presidency, but not a Clinton presidency. Think about that before you cast your ballot, unless you don’t give a damn and just want your free stuff.
