FOUNDER AND CEO
Launched in 2017, The KNOW Women began as a way to bring more attention to dynamic women doing remarkable things in the Phoenix metro. We knew there were an outstanding number of women impacting the community and making big strides in their industries. Our goal was to get those women out from behind their computer screens and into the public eye. Thus, we created the KNOW Book, a carefully curated publication that would feature vision-led women in a glamorous and authentic style. As the momentum grew and we recognized the need for more, we launched our Collaborative around the women featured in our KNOW Book. Our mix & mingles soon ensued and we witnessed incredible things happening. We saw our women doing business with each other, creating friendships, supporting each other, collaborating on projects together, and so much more. What started as a fun project to spotlight women, has turned into a full-blown movement. The KNOW Women has expanded beyond its birthplace of Phoenix, Arizona; its aim is to launch in every major city across the United States and Canada.

KATHY LE CTV Kathy Le is an award winning journalist, receiving the Spirit of NAIT alumni award for achieving excellence in her industry. She has also been nominated multiple times for the Radio Television Digital News Association award. Some of Le’s notable pieces of work include an investigative documentary she produced where she uncovered exclusive documents unveiling the shocking state of private and licensed child care in Alberta. Le’s mission as a journalist is to tell stories that will make a difference in the world. Outside of work, Le is a proud Rotarian and has volunteered for countless charities in Calgary. She also sits on the Rotary Heritage Park International Committee and is involved with projects around the world. Recently, she had the opportunity to travel to Puerto Vallarta to take part in on-going school-centered programs that help some of the poorest children get an education. Singer/songwriter, Valerie Aimee has been writing music since the age of 12, accumulating over 80,000 fans and followers on her social media accounts from posting videos of original songs and covers. She has an established unique sound, that compliments her acoustic singer/ songwriter artistry. Valerie was scouted by Carnival Cruise Lines and has spent two years travelling the globe, while also completing her Bachelors of Commerce degree. Recently, she debuted her first song “Ocean” on all music platforms, which generated over 150,000 streams on Spotify while also accepting the position, VP of Marketing at In-Houze Productions. Valerie’s creativity and passion is the foundation for both her music and business careers.

Shiva Jahanshah is the President and Founder of Python Productions and The creator, Executive Producer and Host of “Style in the City”; which airs on both Global Calgary and City TV Calgary. The award winning television reporter and producer is also passionate about lending a voice to people living on the margins, bringing awareness to critical social issues like homelessness, gangs and domestic violence. Her documentary “Homeless in Calgary” was honored with a prestigious AMPIA award. In 2011 Shiva was honored with SAIT’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award. Yes, coffee and naps are her jam! Christine has anchored coverage of many breaking news events in Charlotte and interviewed newsmakers, most recently the president of the United States. She is a three-time Emmy winner and received regional awards for her anchoring and reporting. Christine leads the campaign at WBTV to help cancer patients at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, raising a record 1.7 million dollars in 2019. Colleen Odegaard is a long time staple on morning television in Charlotte. She is the host of Charlotte Today, a local lifestyle show that can be seen weekday mornings at 11:00 on WCNC. Colleen loves profiling the people and places that make the Carolinas special. Colleen is also the creator of Curler Confessions, a video series that started on social media but can now be seen weekly on Wake Up Charlotte on WCNC as well. Colleen shares insightful, uplifting and humorous musings on parenting, body image and mindset while wearing velcro rollers in her hair. 4 HEARTS MEDIA CATHERINE ANAYA Catherine Anaya is a longtime media personality. She’s a TV and digital media host at The Social Television Network and contributing host of The Women’s Eye podcast. She’s also a threetime Emmy Award- winning former television news anchor, recently inducted into the prestigious National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Silver Circle, for more than 25 years of broadcast excellence. Catherine anchored 12 of those years at CBS 5 News in Phoenix. She also anchored in Los Angeles, Indiana and Texas.
Catherine’s career highlights include interviewing President Obama at the White House and co-anchoring a post-presidential debate with Walter Cronkite. She is active in the community as an emcee and speaker. She’s a member of the Make-A-Wish Arizona Board of Directors, founded the women’s charitable group Sisterhood of Super Women and helped her children create The Lats Legacy Foundation and scholarship in memory of their father. Lynn Cristina writes about a variety of parenting topics for the Tampa Bay Times. You may have seen her weekly column, Tales from the Crib on tampabay.com and in Wesley Chapel Weekly. In it, she shares the challenges of parenthood with humor, openness and a sprinkle of sarcasm. She recently began writing after sharing her mom fails with others only to discover she isn’t the only parent on the struggle bus. Lynn felt it was important to reveal the messy side of mom life, too. Social media serves up the highlights, but keeping it real creates a human connection and validation that parenting is the toughest privilege one can have. Lynn is married with two spunky little girls who keep her laughing and crying. Outside of the “parent hood” she is a Marketing Manager for the Times, volunteers on several non-profit boards and finds the time to chaperone a field trip or two.

SARAH ROSARIO/ CBS TAMPA BAY, WTSP-TV Sarah is an Emmy award winning journalist who grew up in the Tampa area. Her career led her across the country, but she is now part of the morning news team at CBS Tampa Bay. Sarah credits being able to genuinely connect with people and their experiences, but also being driven to really help them as the guiding lights in her career. Prior to working in Tampa, Sarah traveled the country as a National Correspondent for NBC News Channel. She was featured internationally and frequently on MSNBC, The Today Show, and The Weather Channel among others. Her career also includes stints as an anchor and reporter in North Carolina, Louisiana and Mississippi. Sarah’s most proud of starting a family with her husband and giving birth to a son.
